7. 3 pairs of gloves
8. Toungue forcep
9. Patients own set of dress

2. Procedure
• Wash hands theroly
• Soon after death is aunonced
• Removed all the back rest and extra pillows
• Gentally put the patient in supine position
• Close the patient eyes and mouth with the help
of pad
• Remove all tubes if like canulation
• Give bath
• Replace soil dressing, put the clean one
• Take care of valuables like gold, money, etc….
Handed over to patient relatives

3. • Allow the patient members of family to see
the patient remain things in the ward
• Close the body from side by side and head to
feet with the help of the bedsheet
• Prepare identification slip and attach to the
patient
• If the patient had continuous diseases like
(HIV positive)
• Transfer the body mortuary
• Remove all the articles like contaminated from
the room

• Patient name
• Age
• Registration number
• Address
• Ward
• Bed number
• Date & time of death
• Cause of death

5. Autopsy(post montum)

• Necropsy for seeing dead body
