Started as Operation Engineer for a Power Plant and worked with contracting and consulting
firms in different types of projects such as mechanical and electrical installations for housing and
industrial buildings, low, medium and high voltage substations and cable laying. Implemented
many of the works as a projects manager, design and specification for high and extra high
voltage cable. Also occupied other managerial positions that involved preparation and tender
estimation, and contract negotiations up to awarding contracts & implementation of work to
the satisfaction to clients. Also, have good experience in solar energy lighting systems from
tender estimation up to contract execution coordinating with international manufacturers.
From January 2014G up to date: with Alfanar Co as Project Manager for 380KV underground
cables for AL-ADEL S/S in Jeddah.
From February 2013 to October 2013 G: with METS as projects manager in the western region
and project manager for main 110 KV underground cables for power supply to King Abdullah
Sport City in Jeddah.
From May 2001 to February 2013 G: with SEC-SAUDI ELECTRICAL CO.(NATIONAL GRID-SA) at
the Head Quarter -WR-Jeddah as section head of H.V transmission underground cables at Design
& Engineering Department.

From Jan 1995 to June 2000: With Alfanar Construction Co. - Saudi Arabia as a site manager at
the following EWR Projects:
1- 110 / 13.8 KV Iskan Al.Aam Substation Project, Makkah (Lot-1 Civil & Switchgear Works)
2- 380/110/13.8KV Wadi Jaleel Outdoor Substation Project, Makkah (Lot-4, 110KV XLPE
Power, Pilot And FOC Cables)
From Feb. 1990 to Jan. 1995: Al-Jazirah Engineering & Consultants, Saudi Arabia
Site Manager for Supervisory services of Extension of 110/13.8kV Airport Road
Substation in Madina, In addition to supervision responsibilities I prepared tender
design drawings and reviewing specification for the extension of Medina 110kV network
stages 1 & 2.
As Project electrical Engineer for supervision of Installation, testing and commissioning
of following EWR Projects:
1- 110kV Power and Pilot Cable for Thager and Al-Falak Substations in Jeddah. (LPOF and
XLPE Cables).
2- Complete works of 110V/13.8kV Thager and Al-Falak new Substation in Jeddah.
3- 110kV Power and Pilot Cables for relocation of cable from Hara Gharbia to Quba
Substation in Medina and from Quba Gantry to Quba Substation (LPOF and XLPE Cables)
4- Extension works to the Haram and Misfalah Substations rated at 110/13.8kV at Makkah.
5- 110kV Power and Pilot Cable between Haram and Misfalah Substations and between
Makkah 110kV/ 13.8kV Substations and Resifah Gantry at Makkah Power Station Site.
6- Complete works of new Ajyad Substation 110/13.8kV at Makkah.
From March 1987 to Dec. 1989: Arabian Consulting Engineering Services- Saudi Arabia
Worked as senior Project Engineer on Yanbu Electrification Project of General Electricity
Corporation. Project covered distribution network of 210Km of 33kV Steel Pole Over
Head Lines, 397 Transformer locations 33kV/LT with LT lines and Services to approx.
2600 rural consumers at Yanbu Al – Nakhil area.
