2. Pengantar
Suatu perusahaan telah menetapkan sejumlah tujuan strategis, dan yang
terpenting adalah meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut,
mereka ingin tahu dimana bagian yang perlu diperbaiki pada segala hal yang
berhubungan dengan IT. Perusahaan memutuskan bahwa menetapkan
kepuasan pelanggan sebagai prioritas utama sama dengan meningkatkan
prioritas perusahaan berikutnya

COBIT 5 terbagi atas dua area kerangka kerja yaitu governance (Tata Kelola) dan
management (Bisnis). Area governance mempunyai 1 domain yaitu EDM
(Evaluate, Direct, and Monitor) yang terdiri atas 5 subdomain. Sedangkan area
Management mempunyai 4 domain yaitu APO (Align, Plan, and Organize), BAI
(Build, Acquire, and Implement), DSS (Deliver, Service, and Support), MEA (Monitor,
Evaluate, and Asses) yang terdiri atas 37 subdomain.
