Equipment.
 Manage site works in terms of quality and safety and optimum utilization of available resources.
Follow the implementation of the Project Quality Plan.
 Follow PIP Standards and Specifications.
 Responsible for preparation of ITP and QCP’s with respect to Insulation activities and the works are
carried out.
 Follow Inspection check List which are as follow:
1. All required testing is completed and systems released for insulation by the appropriate authority.
2. The surface to be insulated is clean and dry.
3. The surface to be insulated has been coated and released for insulation by the appropriate authority.
4. Heat tracing has been installed, inspected and released for insulation by the appropriate authority.
5. Existing installed insulation is protected from damage.
6. All supports are installed properly.
7. Insulation support rings are installed.
8. The insulation is the correct thickness and number of layers.

2. 9. All joints are correctly staggered.
10. Joints are cut and fit to maximum of 1/8 inch.

 Indentifying what quality control task are needed insulation thickness, fixing of PIR materials, laying
of aluminum sheets, fixing of screws, washers, sealants and final cleaning prior to inspection.
 Scheduling and controlling the tasks required.
 Ensuring that all contractual quality standards and inspection are met.
 Preparation of quality documents.
 Prior to application checking of Rockwool, Calcium Silicate and Cellular Glass Insulation thickness
according to client specifications.
 Checking of size and thickness of Aluminum Sheets prior to insulation.
 To co-ordinate and conduct inspection at various stages of insulation works.
 Certify acceptance of work, whose testing was completed and accepted by client.
 Submit reports and recommendations.
 Maintain files, charts and reports.
 Inspection of insulation and cladding works and workmanship as per Inspection Test Plan for
conference and maintain records.
