This document proposes the creation of the Global Alumni Business Forum (GABF) to facilitate business and collaboration opportunities between IIT Bombay alumni, faculty, students, staff, and businesses. It argues that GABF could fill an important gap by connecting the IIT Bombay community for their mutual benefit. The forum would give all parties - faculty, students, alumni, and IIT Bombay itself - a place to pursue opportunities in areas like funding, partnerships, jobs, and promoting their work. It positions GABF as a trusted event run by alumni that could become the preferred place for IIT Bombay constituents to do business with each other.
