1. May 2016
Message from Greg Aden
2016 President
We have been through many changes so far
this year and more are just around the
corner. Meanwhile, we continue to ask
ourselves as leaders of this great
organization, "How do we up-level the service
we provide the current and future members?"
What comes up each time is to provide
opportunities to serve and to help us grow.
We have a strong core team and a great
group of volunteers to assist the Leadership
Team; however, more hands are wanted and
needed to push through where we sit today. We have recently
added Lora Polowczuk as co-Communications Director and are
excited to have her talent and background on the team.
The Fall ICF-CO Conference "Ignite Change Now!" is November 4th
(Click here to register). We have identified our keynote speakers -
Rhonda Britten and Rick Tamlyn - and are finalizing our
workshop/breakout speakers by mid-May. As mentioned last month,
please begin to consider who you will invite and which client(s) you
may sponsor to attend. What a powerful gift you will provide for
someone!!
We continue to reach out to various organizations seeking interest
in partnering with us to serve and support our members, and in
return, we will suggest their products and services to our
membership as well as those considering joining ICF-CO.
Speaking of which ... we are in communication with 220+
ICF-Global members who are affiliated with our Colorado chapter by
election but haven’t engaged much with us nor have we with them
up until now. We will actively pursue each of them AND add them to
our membership in some form or fashion by summer's end. This will
include, but is not limited to, some satellite meetings outside of
Denver and provide additional ways to engage outside of traditional

2. monthly meetings. I hear from our existing membership and those
sitting on the sidelines that value of ICF-Global and ICF-Colorado
comes in many forms, and they would like us to communicate those
values as clearly as possible.
We will have a July meeting (most likely the 14th) and will
communicate additional details as they become more clear. We will
also be putting together a joint evening meeting with NSA-CO and
ATD-RMC at some point in August. The details will be communicated
shortly.
The Leadership Team is clear on many topics on how we wish to
serve ICF-CO and its members. We ask that you communicate what
you want and need most from us, and how we may support you
throughout 2016 and beyond.
