February 2014
IN THIS ISSUE:
Message from Stephanie Wachman
President, ICF Colorado
2014 is off to a great start! I realized that I
never formally introduced myself since coming
in as chapter president.
I am originally from Montreal, Quebec and
moved to Colorado over 15 years ago. I
received my BA from McGill University and
worked for over 18 years in business
development, sales, sales training and
marketing. My passion has always been in
helping business leaders and high potential
professionals achieve more. I began coaching 4
years ago with a focus on Executive Coaching and Productivity
Training and received certification from CTA. I am also currently
enrolled in Judy Sabah’s ICF Certification Class. I have been married
to my wonderful husband David for 15 years, and we have two
boys, ages 9 & 13 (a teenager YIKES!). We love to ski, hike and
watch football.
My vision for ICF Colorado is to bring as much opportunity,
education, networking, business guidance, community outreach and
great positive, fun energy to our chapter as we can handle. The
motto for the year is let's "try it;" if we succeed, GREAT! If we fail,
GREAT! Let's just take chances and stretch ourselves to the benefit
of our chapter.
Our board is incredible and working hard to bring this vision to light.
We are currently planning a one-day conference, international
coaching week and the development of a new website.
ICF Colorado offers some great resources, including a Facebook
Page and LinkedIn Group.
Lastly, I want remind everyone that ICF Global has amazing

and Career with
LinkedIn Discussions
In this program, we will explore how to identify and address your
self-care needs using the 4 Gateways coaching model. 4 Gateways
is a powerful, experiential process for addressing an enormous
range of issues. Through the 4 wisdom gateways, you and your
clients step out of conditioned ways of seeing and view any issue
with fresh perspectives, aligned with purpose, engaged with
passion, and directed by right use of power. Through the process
both we and our clients can transform our inner lives, our
relationships, and our world.
ICF Colorado extends
outside just the monthly
meetings. You might not be
connected with the very
valuable ICF Colorado
LinkedIn group.
Attendees will learn to take clients through specific, proven
processes that shift viewpoint and experience, and open the door to
resolving almost any personal or professional issue. For attendees,
what they learn during this talk will give them additional coaching
tools that can make the work they do with their clients more
powerful and effective. The 4 Gateways inquiry process makes life
easier for coaches, as they quickly transition clients from struggle to
solution-based processing..

Membership in the ICF Colorado
Hello! If you are reading this, you are either a member of ICF CO or you are curious about ICF CO!
We have been attracting a lot of new and wonderful members lately, so I have been asked many
questions about why they should join. They ask me why I joined and what is my benefit. I would
like to share:
First is community; this organization provides a wonderful group of people that I call friends and
colleagues.
The second is connection; we spend so much time solo as coaches and consultants that connecting
is crucial to inspire us and bring out new ideas.
The third is potential; when I meet the amazing people that come to the meetings, there is always
potential for new learning and sometimes partnership on new business ideas. I have made some
wonderful connections at the meetings.
The fourth is learning; we have had some excellent speakers. EVERY meeting I learn
something I can use as a leadership and executive coach.
OK, if you have not signed up already, what are you waiting for??
The ICF CO is growing, and we want you to be a part of this exciting time in our history! Whether
you are a member or not, please join us at our next meeting. Please introduce yourself to me, the
membership director. I want to meet you and learn about the amazing person YOU are.
