Benefits
• Allows for more creativity and enriching
visuals for subject matter
• Cost saving to students
• Opens new portals into information that
is available and unrestricted
• Adaptable to changing subjects and
ability levels in the classroom
• Heightens interest in subject matter
• Perceived as new, current, and more
relevant
• More relatable and personal from
instructor

Challenges
• Time consuming to locate and verify
information
• Reluctance on the part of some students
to accept alternative sources
• Access to all may be limited by some
student constrictions
• Questionable sources, lack of certainty
• Textbook mindset of teaching peers
• Reluctance to constantly reinvent the
wheel of curriculum
• General uncertainty of something new
and differnet
