1. Pitch:
Concept: I would like to create a music video using the song ‘Can I Call You
Tonight’ by Dayglow. I plan to use a wide range of props and locations for my
music video, one of the main props being a vintage telephone. The narrative of
my music video follows different characters taking a telephone to different
locations where you would usually take your partner on a date, e.g. the Ferris-
wheel, the train station, the arcade and the sea front. This can be interpreted
in different ways, some may see it as a symbol of a long-distance relationship,
our toxic relationship with our phones and being obsessed at looking at them
or constantly checking for notifications. For locations I would go to many
different locations and include the different telephones in the shots. To appeal
to different demographics the relationships in the video will include different
sexualities and genders.
