Heather professionally for over a year. She and I worked side by side at the Best Buddies Nevada
office. I witnessed firsthand the dedication and commitment Heather gave to her department. In her
first three months of employment she was able to meet her yearly goals and even broke state
records! This has never happened in my tenure with Best Buddies, many other state managers would
call upon Heather for guidance.
Her unwavering commitment to her department inspired educators to become full-fledged Best
Buddies chapter sites. In an era of declining after school programs, Heather was able to continue
adding school sites, up until her last days with Best Buddies. Her immense devotion to spreading the
Best Buddies mission of social inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is
unmatched.
Heather Mayers is an innovator when it comes to reaching program goals and expectations. She will
dedicate her time to creating an action plan that will ensure positive outcomes for your company. She
is a team player that will sacrifice her personal time to ensure program success. I have yet to meet
