I have also involved in commissioning and pre-commissioning of Main Generator,
Steam Turbine, different Electrical Systems, Gas Insulated Switch Yards, Power
Transformers, Electrical Bus bars, Panels, and Motor Generator sets under the
high technical Supervision of Qinshan Nuclear Power Company China (QNPC). My
responsibilities are Operations of Following Systems and Equipment’s
OPERATION of 340MW STEAM TURBINE
• SteamTurbine:
Operation of 340 MWe condensing steam turbine (steam flow 2020 t/h, T= 268ºC,
inlet P= 5.5MPa discharge P=5.74KPa).It is a tandem compound turbine and
comprised of 01 HP turbine and 02 LP turbines with 02 moisture separator and re-
heaters, related systems and equipment are following.
2. • Condenser Vacuum System: 2 start-up air ejectors, 2 main air ejectors
• Condensate System: Condensate Pumps of 2x748 t/h, Condensate booster pumps
of 2x750 t/h
• Feed Water System: Feed water pumps 2x1032 t/h, Discharge pressure 9.0 Mpa,
with 7 feed water heaters including 3 low pressure heaters, 1 de-aerator, and 3
high pressure heaters.
• Turbine Auxiliary Steam System (DAS).
• Turbine Extractions Steam System(DXS).

OPERAION IN DIFFERENT MODES OF PLANT
• Fully involves in the plant startup, plant normal power operation, power reduction
and handling all types of transients in all phases of plant, normal shutdown,
emergency shutdown, and refueling shutdown.
• Have experience of 03 planned long shut down at Chashma Nuclear Power Plant.
