March 2008 to date in Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA).
Senior ENGINEER (BPS-18) (July 2013 to date): Posted at one of the world
largest Hydel Power Project (Tarbela Power Station 3478MW). My responsibilities are:
 Operation, control and supervision of 175 MW and 432 MW generators.
 Operation, control and supervision of 500/220/11 KV Transmission Lines through
switching of SF6 and air blast circuit breakers.
 Supervision and control of System (Network) frequency as per requirement of system
through Automatic Load Frequency Control ALFC) as well as through manual operation.
 Comprehensive knowledge of system operation through SCADA (Supervisory Control
and Data Acquisition) system.
 Operation of OFF- Load as well as ON- Load Tap changers as per System Voltage
requirement.
 Operation and control of 750 KVA diesel generators for black start of the Power Station.
 Operation and control of 11 KV systems to run Station auxiliary as per requirement.
 Operation and control of pumps for service, potable and drainage water system of Power
Station.
 Operation of firefighting equipment during emergencies.
 Supervision and training of Shift staff.
Junior ENGINEER (BPS-17) (March 2008 to June 2013): Worked as Shift
Engineer at Power Station Tarbela. My responsibilities were:
