According to UN World Health Organization,
Global Database on Child Growth and
Malnutrition, 2006 :
 Hunger remains the No.1 cause of death in
the world. Aids, Cancer etc. follow
 1/3rd of the world’s hungry live in India
STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
According to latest FAO estimates in ‘The State
of Food Insecurity in the World, 2015 report :
 194.6million people go hungry everyday
 15.2% of our population is undernourished
 More than 3,000 children in India die every
day from poor diet related illness
 Over 25 lakhs Indians die of hunger every
year.
STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
 Company’s goal :
To decrease the number of deaths in
INDIA due to hunger by 20 percent
at the end of the year 2018 and to
eradicate this problem by the end of
the year 2030.
STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
 Proposed course of action:
To launch an app through which :
 People can either donate money equal to one
meal (i.e. 25 rupees) by just clicking on the
‘donate one meal’ option.
 They can provide food left after different
functions or at hotels or at restaurants just by
providing their address on the “ drop your
address “ link. We will collect the same from
the respective locations.

A new app will be launched by the
collaboration of FEEDING INDIA for
reducing hunger, which is
responsible for thousands of death
each day in India.

 Market overview
 Competitors : Share the meal – help children,
different Donation apps.
 To convince people that they are donating to the
right place and their money is fully used in
providing food to the needy people
 Seeing the facts if we don’t help these needy
people the number of deaths will be increasing
with time.

1. For donation through App
 Every citizen of India who want to serve as
the helping hand.
 Different NGO’s in INDIA.
 MNC companies.

2.For providing the food by clicking on the link
“ drop your address” we will first target 4 big
cities : Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore.
 Mainly the owners of Big hotels and
restaurants in these 4 cities.

 Owners of different marriage halls in these 4
cities.
 Owners of different companies which provide
complementary food to their employees in
these 4 cities.
STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
 To reduce the number of deaths due to
hunger in INDIA by at least 20 percent by
the end of the year 2018.
 To end hunger in INDIA by 2030.
 To have at least 5 lakh (5,00,000)
donation means at least 5 lakh meals
worth rupees 25 each from all over India.

 In case of providing food left after different
events we will try to contact owners of at
least 100 hotels , 100 marriage halls and 25
companies in each of the 4 cities and will
personally let them know about the app and
its benefit by the end of the year 2017.

something for the society, who has
the money but do not have time or
resources.

 Channel members will be NGO’s
working for poor in the field of
providing food, all Indian citizens
those who don’t have money to
donate but want to help society by
any other means such as physical
help etc.

 Communication partners will be
radio partners for marketing,
collaboration with TV channels and
film stars for the endorsements who
do social work.

which people around the world can
donate for one meal by just a single
tap on the phone.

 This app will be free of cost and their will be
no charges for downloading it. It will be
available on Google play store and App store
so that any mobile user can get easy access
to it.

contribution in removing hunger
from INDIA.

can be done without much efforts.
 Customers helping people through this app
can know where their money is going.

 We will collaborate with FEEDING
INDIA (organization) and will form a
team of 10 educated people for each
location.
 A technical team of 4 members will
be formed who will be responsible
for all technical requirements of the
app.
STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
 Those 10 people will collaborate with
different NGOs in their city and will be
selecting 20 people who will be
responsible for taking and delivering the
food from the places registered on the
app.
 Those 20 people will be responsible for
forming the list of needy people with the
help of NGOs.
 One member from each city will be
responsible for collaborating with radio
stations, film stars and Television
channels.
STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
 After the approval of this marketing app,
FEEDING INDIA will hire the required team of 40
members for different locations ( 10 for each ).
 The people hired by FEEDING INDIA will be
selecting 20 people for their city within 2
weeks.
 These 20 people will make the list of 25,000
needy people in their respective cities within a
week.
STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
 At the same time, technical team will be
working on the app using the data collected
by the other team members within 1 month.
 After that the team of 10 members will
collaborate with
1. the radio channels and celebrities for
promotion
2. owners of big companies, hotels and
restaurants for donation
within next 2 months.

Marketing plan for app "Share the Food - Help Needy"

  • 2. According to UN World Health Organization, Global Database on Child Growth and Malnutrition, 2006 :  Hunger remains the No.1 cause of death in the world. Aids, Cancer etc. follow  1/3rd of the world’s hungry live in India STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 3. According to latest FAO estimates in ‘The State of Food Insecurity in the World, 2015 report :  194.6million people go hungry everyday  15.2% of our population is undernourished  More than 3,000 children in India die every day from poor diet related illness  Over 25 lakhs Indians die of hunger every year. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 4.  Company’s goal : To decrease the number of deaths in INDIA due to hunger by 20 percent at the end of the year 2018 and to eradicate this problem by the end of the year 2030. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 5.  Proposed course of action: To launch an app through which :  People can either donate money equal to one meal (i.e. 25 rupees) by just clicking on the ‘donate one meal’ option.  They can provide food left after different functions or at hotels or at restaurants just by providing their address on the “ drop your address “ link. We will collect the same from the respective locations. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 6.  Company overview A new app will be launched by the collaboration of FEEDING INDIA for reducing hunger, which is responsible for thousands of death each day in India. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 7.  Market overview  Competitors : Share the meal – help children, different Donation apps.  To convince people that they are donating to the right place and their money is fully used in providing food to the needy people  Seeing the facts if we don’t help these needy people the number of deaths will be increasing with time.   • 8.  Target customers : 1. For donation through App  Every citizen of India who want to serve as the helping hand.  Different NGO’s in INDIA.  MNC companies. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 9. 2.For providing the food by clicking on the link “ drop your address” we will first target 4 big cities : Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore.  Mainly the owners of Big hotels and restaurants in these 4 cities. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 10.  Owners of different marriage halls in these 4 cities.  Owners of different companies which provide complementary food to their employees in these 4 cities. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 11.  To reduce the number of deaths due to hunger in INDIA by at least 20 percent by the end of the year 2018.  To end hunger in INDIA by 2030.  To have at least 5 lakh (5,00,000) donation means at least 5 lakh meals worth rupees 25 each from all over India. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 12.  In case of providing food left after different events we will try to contact owners of at least 100 hotels , 100 marriage halls and 25 companies in each of the 4 cities and will personally let them know about the app and its benefit by the end of the year 2017. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 13. Customers : The people with the desire to do something for the society, who has the money but do not have time or resources. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 14. Collaborators :  Channel members will be NGO’s working for poor in the field of providing food, all Indian citizens those who don’t have money to donate but want to help society by any other means such as physical help etc. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 15.  Communication partners will be radio partners for marketing, collaboration with TV channels and film stars for the endorsements who do social work. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 16.  Competitors : Different apps which are based on donation and “Share The Meal – Help children” app which was launched for helping the hungry people in which people around the world can donate for one meal by just a single tap on the phone. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA

People not having time in their hectic schedule but if they possess a zeal to help needy than that can be done without much efforts.  Customers helping people through this app can know where their money is going.  It will be free of cost.   • 24.  We will collaborate with FEEDING INDIA (organization) and will form a team of 10 educated people for each location.  A technical team of 4 members will be formed who will be responsible for all technical requirements of the app. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 25.  Those 10 people will collaborate with different NGOs in their city and will be selecting 20 people who will be responsible for taking and delivering the food from the places registered on the app.  Those 20 people will be responsible for forming the list of needy people with the help of NGOs.  One member from each city will be responsible for collaborating with radio stations, film stars and Television channels. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 26.  After the approval of this marketing app, FEEDING INDIA will hire the required team of 40 members for different locations ( 10 for each ).  The people hired by FEEDING INDIA will be selecting 20 people for their city within 2 weeks.  These 20 people will make the list of 25,000 needy people in their respective cities within a week. STEP TOWARDS BETTER INDIA
  • 27.  At the same time, technical team will be working on the app using the data collected by the other team members within 1 month.  After that the team of 10 members will collaborate with 1. the radio channels and celebrities for promotion 2. owners of big companies, hotels and restaurants for donation within next 2 months.
