 Obstacle detecting helps the robot in avoiding the collision with obstacle.
 The robot gets the information from the surrounding area through
mounted sensors on the robot.
 Some sensing devices used for obstacle detection like bump sensors,
infrared sensors, ultrasonic sensors, etc
 Arduino Uno
 Utrasonic sensor
 Servo Motor
 DC Battery
 Jumper Wires
 Breadboard
 The ultrasonic sensor emits the short and high-frequency signal. These
propagate in the air at the velocity of sound.
 The ultrasonic sensor consists of a multivibrator, fixed to the base. The multi
vibrator is a combination of a resonator and a vibrator. The resonator delivers
ultrasonic wave generated by the vibration.
 The ultrasonic sensor consists of two parts: Emitter and Detector.
 When an electrical pulse of high voltage is applied to the ultrasonic transducer
it vibrates across a specific spectrum of frequencies and generates a burst of
sound waves.
 Whenever any obstacle comes ahead of the ultrasonic sensor the sound
waves will reflect in the form of echo and generates an electric pulse.
 Obstacle avoiding robots can be used in almost all mobile robot navigation
systems.
 They can be used for household work like automatic vacuum cleaning.
 They can also be used in dangerous environments, where human
penetration could be fatal.
 Automated lawn mover.
 Smart room cleaner.
 Unmanned vehicle driving.
 Delivery system.
 Mining Vehicle that uses obstacle detection.
 It can be used as a movable surveillance system.
 It can be controlled remotely.
 It does not require Man Power.
 It can be used for critical application like flood, bomb disposal, fire,
terrorist attack, earth quake, spying.
 This robot is able to produce the basic walking movements using two gear
motors.
 We developed the robot with a very which is easily capable to sense the
obstacle and by processing the signal coming from the sensor it is perfectly
avoiding the obstacle coming in the path.
 Robot takes left right or forward backward movement of the robot
smooth. Ultrasonic sensor is better to detect obstacle coming in between
the in the path.
