We surveyed a number of
people from both people, but
as expected for a Drama, we
received more female
participants. This isn’t
unusual as films from the
Drama genre are considered
feminine.

For our survey, we recruited
more participants from the
younger end of our target
audience. This was
expected as most of the
people who participated
were people we knew, thus
there was more people from
our own age group.

We will be using this feedback from our audience in order to improve our
film, as the audience’s feedback is crucial in making this a successful short
film, as they will be the ones who watch the final product. We will use
information, such as if the narrative makes sense, to alter the films plot in
order for it to become clearer to the audience, which thus improves the
films quality. Gathering information from your audience before creating a
short film is very important to creating a successful film, as they help us
recognise errors and areas which need improving.
