1. Audience feedback
We had the opportunity to present our
opening sequences in the theatre screening
at our college. Students, parents and
teachers were welcomed to participate in
viewing the films and answering some
questions which helped us to decide what
needs to be done to improve our products.

2. Did you understand the story
line ?

16 out of 28 participants in the
screening said that they did
understand the story line of
the movie. Seven said they did
not and four stated ‘sort of’.
This shows that more than half
of the participants understood
what we wanted to get across
however, there was a number
of people that did not, or they
were confused. Therefore, we
need to improve the way we
present our idea so that
everyone understands and not
only the majority.

beginning of a film ? Once again, 16 out of 28
stated that it did feel like
the beginning of a film.
However, there was a
number of people that said
it did not.
This provided us with the
relevant information that
helped us to decide what
we may change and what
needs to be changed to
make it seem as the very
beginning of a movie.
