2. Idea 1 – Location 1
We decided that in our music video we would have the artist
on a ride as we thought this is a great way to portray a
‘natural high’ that we wanted to create. We then did some
research about where the nearest fun fair was and we found
out that Star City Birmingham have a funfair on regularly so
we thought this would be the best place to film. Next, we
rang the owners of star city several times but failed to get
through to them due to this we weren’t allowed to film on
Star City grounds and had to find another location. After
some thorough research we realised that the German Market
had arrived in the city centre and they had a few fun fair
rides that we could film on, we then settled with this as one
of our filming locations
3. Idea 2 – Location 2
We then had to decide on a place that would be suitable
for the lip-synching and the main body of the music
video. When we were generating our ideas for the music
video we al agreed that we wanted an autumnal vibe to
our music video, with this mind we decided that the best
place would our local park – lightwoods park. After
visiting lightwoods park we saw that it was suitable for
filming parts that weren’t lip-synching so we decided we
would film some clips that didn’t involve lip-synching.
4. Idea 3 – Location 3
Once We had settled our two main locations we
then needed to find a location to do the lip-
synching. We decided we wanted a plain
background of just white. We then searched to find
somewhere to film that would have a nice effect, in
the end we found a white wall in our sixth form
gardens and when looking at it we saw the white
wall had a reflection of trees on it and we thought
this would add to our whole autumn/winter theme
that we were going for.
