Principles of Exemplary Leadership and
how they apply to CAs/OLs.
• How can CAs/OLs use these principles
with their students?
• How can you use these principles with
CAs and OLs?
• Talk to the person next you about what
you came up with.

• Absence of Trust
• Fear of Conflict
• Lack of Commitment
• Avoidance of Accountability
• Inattention to Results
13. How Can We Avoid The Five Dysfunctions?
• I could tell you... but how about you tell
me?
• In your groups, talk about your assigned
dysfunction and how you can avoid it in
working with other CAs and OLs and in
working with each other this week.
• Be ready to share with the rest of the
group!
