What does the term "Cloud" mean? The term "Cloud" is a relative new term previously identified or referred to as the "Internet". The "Internet" has allowed users for fifteen years plus to access web pages via a traditional browser albeit with slow connection speeds and limited intelligence that could be applied effectively to businesses systems and processes. These activities are undertaken at the various phases of the projects life cycle. These phases are typically identified as Pre Award, Award, Post Award and On-Site. Within these Phases specific task groups are identified which may include but are not necessarily limited to: Sourcing Analysis, Expression of Interest, Supplier Qualification, Tendering/Field Procurement, Award Management, Expediting, Inspection, Contracts Administration, Supplier Rating & Performance, Traffic & Logistics, Materials Receipting, Surplus Disposal, Handover & Assetisation.
