Content Analysis
Terms : Legislature ,parliament, President , Lok sabha, Rajya sabha, Bicameral Legislature
. ,238 members, 543 members Vice president , Speaker,5 year, Permanent House .
Fact :
 Three institutions are related to three organs of government namely legislature, executive, and
judiciary.
 The legislature in India is known as parliament .
 It consists of the president and the two houses namely Rajyasabha and loga sabha.
 It has two houses it is known as bicameral legislature.
 Rajyasabha is known as upper house.
 Lok sabah is known as lower house.
 Vice president presides over the sessons of rajyasabha .
 It has two houses it is known as bicameral legislature.
 Rajyasabha is permanent house.
 Lok sabha not a permanent house, its elected for a terms of 5 years.
Concept : Legislature in India
Previous knowledge : The students are already aware about the Legislature in India and
its Features.

2. Flow chart of Rajya sabha
3. Picture of president ,loksabha, rajyasabha
4. Chart showing important information about loksabha

Introduction
The teacher enters the class and wishes the
students. The students also wish him back. The teacher
started to take class. Teacher teach the students breaf
information about Legislature in India
Presentation
The Teacher shows pictures about parliament
and he explains about the features of parliament. Also
teacher shows pictures of loksabha , rajya sabha and
president , and explain,
The legislature in india it consist of the president
and the two houses namely rajyasabha and loksabha.
The rajyasabha s known as the upper house and the lok
sabha is known as the lower house.
Activity I
The teacher divides the class into different
groups.
The teacher showing flow chart of rajyasbha also asks
the students to write a short note about rajyasabha.
Points:
 238 elected members.
 12 nominated members.
 Known as counsil of states .
 Vice president presides over the sessions.
Activity II
The teacher shows the chart of lok sabha. The
lok sabha is known as the lower house. The teacher asks
the students to compare features of rajya sabha and lok
sabha
In rajya sabha has 238 elected members-
In lok sabha has 543 directly elected members.
In rajya sabha has 12 nominated members,
lok sabha 2 nominated members.
Vice president Presides over the session of rajya
sabha. Presided over by the speaker of lok sabha.
Conclusion:
Three institutions are related three organs of the government namely legislature, executive and
judiciary. the legislature India is known as the parliament. It consist of president the two houses namely
rajyasabha and lok sabha. The rajyasabha is known as the upper house , and the lok sabha is known as
lower house .since it has two houses it known as bicameral legislature.
