The Centre has provided accommodation to over 200 families since opening in 2013. Without this centre, the parent would have to find and pay for a rental room, possibly with strangers, and if their sick child is very young, they would need to bring the child around to look for food to buy everyday when the child is not in the hospital. All this for at least 6 months which is the normal length of time for cancer treatment.
This is the pledge card used to collect donations. You can take more than 1 card. The SCCS services roadmap is on the back of the card, should the donors wish to understand more about what we do to help childhood cancer patients. Terms and Conditions are listed on the bottom of the card. All cards are property of the Society and must be returned, whether used or not.
SCCS can work with your appointed person in charge to create the event day program.
