• At Connecting I had the overall responsibility for developing new
concepts, E.g. a website we developed called www.eventbanken.no, which
was one of a kind in Norway when launched, and contains several hundred
idea`s for companies looking to strengthen their organization through team
building.
• I was in charge of most customer care activities, and view networking as
one of my strongest skills.
• Recruited the right people for the right assignments. Since we worked
mainly with freelance employees, we always had to be one the look-out for
new and upcomming talent for our clients, as well as retaining them.
• Training was a big part of my work since we worked with a broad variety
of clients with different needs and expectations.
• HR related activities like payroll and benefits for over 300 freelance
employees were part of my responsibilities.
• Generating new clients through business presentations.
• During my time at Connecting the company had a substantial growth,
improved its strategic position, improved its operational performance and
enhanced customer orientation. We went from beeing a small and unknown
player to becoming one of the top companies in Norway in Event
Marketing. This was achieved through a more analytical approach to our
business, better internal cooperation and involvement, as well as more
structured and improved work processes.
