Narrative Report for the Month of August
During Meeting Time I shared to them the changes that people go through are part of a cycle. We
change as we grow, we get bigger, we get longer, we get stronger, we can do more things as we grow
and we can learn more things, and also I shared to them the different feelings like I’m happy, I’m sad,
I’m afraid, I’m angry, like and dislikes. And then, the basic needs of a person are food, clothes and
shelter. In food I show to them a poster of 3 basic groups of foods the go, grow and glow foods.
In Small GroupActivities, Ibroughtheightchartto know how tall theyare, andI call one byone to tell to
theirclassmates what the things they can do are. Also I provide each pupil with empty can, magazines
and paste and I letthe pupilstear the sheets of magazines into small pieces, and let them to paste the
pieces of paper around the empty can until the empty can is covered. In order to develop fine motor
coordination.Then,Igive eachpupil 1piece of paper of coupon bond to draw “What makes you happy,
what makes you sad, and what are like and dislikes”.
In Big Group Activities I asked them what changes you saw in yourself as you were growing up. During
small groupactivitiesIgive them1piece of couponbondto draw what make themhappy,sad,and what
theirlike anddislikes.InbiggroupactivitiesIaskedthemtoshow theirdrawingandtell theirclassmates
what makes them happy, sad, what are their like and dislikes.
In Supervised Recess I always told them to pray before and after eat their snacks, washing their hands
and brush their teeth after they eat their snacks.
In StoryTellingTime Iintroducedtothemthe differentstoryfor this month like, Nawawalang Kuting, A
ThirstySparrow,Little MissMuffet, andTembongDa Mandarambong.AndAlsoI introduce the different
rhymes,poems,songslike Ako ay Malinis, Reach for the Sky, Ang Po at ang Opo, I Can Do Many Things,
Leron-Leron Sinta and Three Little Ducks.
In Indoor/Outdoor Activities I introduced to them the different games like Oh My Hands And Feet,
Everybody Do This (shake hands, snap fingers, stomp feet, wave hands ), Body Movement and Simon
Says.
On August 26, 2011 we had our Panapos Na Programa Ng Buwan Ng Wika 2011. TEMA “Ang Filipino ay
WikangPanlahat,Ilawat Lakas saTuwid NaLandas”.The selectedpreschoolers present a TULA, which is
connected to the program about Buwan Ng Wika.
