Costume design is a key point to the film
with it being based in the post
apocalypse. Norma Moriceau was the
costume designer for Mad Max 2 with
the steam punk like themes and dusty
like costumes. With these designs being
one of the stand out features of the
film. Another thing to draw inspiration
from is the fallout looking raider armor
with duct tape and torn shirts and
clothing using metal scrap to work and
add to the costume made.

How Tarantino writes his films is with in the dialogue. he makes a
pledge to the audience that something later on will happen and that’s
why the audience should stick around. This means that he has the
audience from the start of the film daring there attention to it. As well
as doing this throughout a whole film. An example of this id pulp
fiction with the first 5 words saying “forget it its too risky” what this is
saying is that there is a plan and these protagonists are unsure on it.
Promising the viewer somewhat of a conclusion to this promise that
has been made.
Another way he does this is by using conflict in every scene. Due to
there always being something at risk (losing an augment or something
more) there's always some sort of end goal and risk with every

Uses the camera to show more about a character
rather than just to tell the story. How he does this is
shown by a perfect example with 28 weeks later.

feeling of being feral and how instable the zombies

Steven Spielberg and Robert Rodat:
What these two do together is make the audience
think about who are the allies in the situation
shown in the film saving private Ryan. The scene
shows the Americans looking down on a German
after he’d killed another allie. With the German
man digging his grave and singing the American
national anthem to insure that the Americans may
save him. This is used to show moral high ground in
a war scenario and something id like to look into in
my films.

Ilya Naishuller:
Specializes in his over the top fighting sequences
and the use of first person perspective. What
this dose is it gives a new look onto the action
sequences of a film. This does get quite
disorientating in some instances. This pov
perspective can be used in some good instance
such as hand to hand combat although can be
very confusing with close quarters gun fighting.

Writing a story has to go down a path one that is interesting to the viewer and is
engaging enough to them also. What most films do is use this story arc to create
their work being one of the most common arcs to use. As well as there can be
more than one arc in a film. This is called a “sub-plot” these don’t need to be
part of the main story but are a reaction or an event that occurs. Sometimes
these plots are never solved in the film and are saved for a sequel and if they
are solved in the film they're usually solved before the main arc.

JJ Abrams:
What he does is he uses mystery as a key point to
his films. With little to no information on the main
plot points. Leaving this untold means that the
viewer can try and add up what's happening in the
film. With this it can help the story progress further
not giving away a key plot point straight away.
Having this means you can shift focus on characters
making the audience ask more about them.
