(SAAF) Did a concept design, to place the SAAF’s catching nets for their fighter jets underground.

Botswana Roads Rehabilitation: Roads / Rehabilitation
(Botswana) Did the rehabilitation of 2 sections of road 50km in length in Botswana, between
Francistown and Gaborone.
Road PWV 16: Roads
(TPA) Did the preliminary design for this section of road, which included a number of
interchanges.
Tzaneen Roads Project: Roads
(Tzaneen municipality) Did the design of a number of town roads where stormwater had been a problem and had
to upgrade a number of intersections.
Zwartkop: Roads and Stormwater
(D.O.P.W.) Did a new pavement design for the Zwartkop Air Force Base. Had to take problem
drainage areas into account. Also re-surfaced a number of internal roads inside the base.
Louis Trichard: Roads Sings
We upgraded a large section of road between Louis Trichardt and Pietersburg were I did
the layout or design, of all the road sings.
Brollo Warehouse: Structural / Foundation Design
(Brollo) Involved in the design of the concrete foundations for a new warehouse for the R.I.H.
section. Detailed some structural steel elements like columns, cladding, down-pipes &
floor slabs.

Brollo OTO Mill: Foundation Design
(Brollo) New and very heavy machinery was installed at Brollo; it was called the OTO Mill Section.
The old Foundation was replaced with a far superior one. The Bolt pockets had to be
exactly designed to have the machinery fit properly. Electrical Sub-Station was also built
next to the warehouse to give enough electricity for the new machinery (sleeves &
cables).
Olifantspoort Water Purification: Site Supervision
(Lepele Northern Water) This project involved the upgrade of an existing water purification plant (Olifantspoort),
situated next to the Olifants River near Lebowagomo. It was to be upgraded from a
20ML/day to 40ML/day plant. At the same time we had to refurbish a 30ML reservoir in
Lebowagomo.
Olifantspoort Water Purification: Site Supervision
(Lepele Northern Water) During the February 1997 rain season the Abstraction works, roads, staff housing units
and other items was damaged. This damage was repaired and a new sewage bio filter
was also installed next to the housing units.
Nelspruit Water Reticulation: Site Supervision
(Northern Districts Council) Water Reticulation Scheme for the communities in Jeppe’s Reef, Buffelspruit &
Schoemansdal. Pipe trenches, lying of pipes, compaction, valves, break pressure tanks,
live training and the pressure testing of the pipes.
Johannesburg: Site Supervision & Project Management
(D.H.L.A) We were appointed as Project Managers on a department of housing project. We had to
work with upcoming contractors in Lotus Gardens, Lawley, Ennerdale and Lenasia.
Amanzi Water Purification System: Water purification system
(Degramount) We did the design of a new water purification plant, which was to be used by a mining
company in the Randfontein.
Orange-Farm: Roads and Stormwater
Did the design of the township Orange Ext.2 roads, was about 22km of road in total, 58
individual sections of road. A section of which was surfaced and the rest was gravel road.
Lesotho: Roads and Stormwater
(Government of Lesotho) The project consists out of five individual sections of road, of which the length is slightly
over 120km. I did the re-design work of a design previously done by another consultant
firm.
Ghana Roads Project: Roads and Stormwater
(Government of Ghana) The project consisted out of three individual sections of road (Ashaiman, Valco &
Manhean), of which the total length was 6.5km. I did the road geometry, truck stops,
tollgates and underpasses.
Rivonia Road: Roads
(Johannesburg Metro Council) The client is Johannesburg Metro Council. Our office two years back initially did the
design of the project, but because of stands being over developed outside their
boundaries, we had to do some re-alignment. We had to re-align the road to miss these
obstructions, services like electrical lines, water pipes, gas mains and others, was
relocated.

2001 - 2002
Road K220: Roads and Stormwater
(Gautrans) I had to do the preliminary design of Road K220. I was responsible for the design part,
drawings and the bill of quantities.
World Summit 2002: Roads and Stormwater
(JRA) The roads in and around Sandton had to be upgraded. I did the design work on a number
of these roads. I had to do setting out drawings, road markings and geometric layout
drawings.
Marabastad Phase 2: Roads
(City of Tshwane) I did the latest revised road layout drawings for Marabastad in Pretoria. The idea was to
improve the traffic flow. The drawings showed horizontal alignment and road markings.
Nietgedacht Filling Station: DTM (data terrain modelling)
I had to design the terrace levels of the filling station. I did the balance between cut and
fill on Civil designer.
2002 - 2003
Old name was Bergman Ingérop
Road K101: Roads and Stormwater
(Gautrans) I had to do the preliminary design of Road K101. I was responsible for the design part,
drawings and the bill of quantities.
Rietvallei Ext. 3: Sewer & Roads
(RPT JHB DHLA - West Rand) I was responsible for the initial sewer network design for 500 stands. I did all the roads
design work along with the stormwater layouts. The design was done with AutoCAD and
TechnoCAD (Pipemate and Roadmate).
Emjindini Ext.11: Sewer
(Umjindi Municipality) I was responsible for the total sewer network design of 1313 stands in Emjindini Ext 11.
The design was done with AutoCAD and TechnoCAD (Pipemate).
Nampak Glass Factory: Structural
(Nampak) I was part of a team whom had to design and draw certain structural buildings and
structural steel, to suit the factory’s mechanical requirements. Design was done during
the construction phase, due to fire damage preceding the rebuilt and extensions.
2003 – 2004

Bekkersdal: Roads and Stormwater
(RPT JHB DHLA - West Rand) The project was done to improve an informal settlement’s living conditions by improving
their services. I did the layout drawings, longitudinal sections and cross sections.

Swaziland Millennium Stadium: Roads and Stormwater
(Swaziland Government) I had to do a re-design of the roads layout. The roads going around the stadium and the
stormwater had to be looked at, and was revised.
Badirile Township: Roads and Stormwater
(RPT JHB DHLA - West Rand) I had to do a roads layout of a new settlement. It included the drawing of longitudinal
sections, cross sections and stormwater pipes.
De Villebois Mareuil Drive: Roads and Stormwater
(Gautrans & City of Tshwane) A new development has been started on the corner of Garsfontein Road and De Villebois
Mareuil Drive, and we had to design the roads around the area. The design included
three intersections, one road Gautrans the authority and the other road City of Tshwane
the authority. I was responsible for the entire design of this project.
Impumelelo Ext2: Water Network
(Sedibeng District Municipality) A new section of Impumelelo is to be developed and we were asked to do the detailed
design of the roads, stormwater, water and sewer. I was responsible for the design of
the water network and the roads and stormwater.
Rietvallei Ext. 5: Roads and Stormwater
(RPT JHB DHLA - West Rand) I had to do a roads layout of a new settlement. It included the drawing of longitudinal
sections, cross sections and stormwater pipes.
Ga-Mapodila: Roads and Stormwater
(Greater Tubatse Municipality) I had to do a roads layout of a new settlement. It included the drawing of longitudinal
sections, cross sections and stormwater pipes.

and road pavement layers for design and resealing. Road is situated between Roetan
and Marble Hall and was about 40km long. I did all the drawings for this project.
Westlake View Development: Infrastructure
(Heartland Properties - Developer) Outline Scheme Report for a development of 55ha in size. Report to be done will include
serviced like roads, stormwater with attenuation ponds, water and sewer. Construction
on the project has been started and is in progress.

Highland Development: Infrastructure
(Heartland Properties - Developer) Outline Scheme Report for a development of 140ha in size. Report to be done will include
serviced like roads, stormwater with attenuation ponds, water and sewer. The project
has been placed on hold.
Boksburg Prison: RAMP / Project Management / Construction Supervision
(DPW JHB Region) Repair and Maintenance Project at the Boksburg Prison. Appointment is for 3 years and
incorporates housing, single quarters, roads & stormwater, water & sewer and mess. The
first year will include repair and maintenance on site with the last two years, for
maintenance only. Project has been completed.
Cloverdene Shopping Centre: Infrastructure / Construction Supervision
(Liviero / Allegro 20 Properties) Construction of a new shopping centre in Boksburg called Cloverdene Retail Centre.
Work includes road works, stormwater, sewer network and water supply. The project
has been put on hold as developer has insufficient funds to complete.
Linbro Park Development: Infrastructure
(Intaprop - Developer) Linbro Park required upgrades to their civil infrastructure to support the new
developments made by the client. Such items included the upgrade of Clulee Road to a
dual carriageway, building of a new access road, installation of a section of water mains,
modifications to an existing water valve chamber, the installation of a completely new
stormwater system and installation of a section of new sewer pipeline.
Johannesburg Area: Bulk Water Pipeline
(Rand Water Board) Various bulk water supply pipelines have been were designed in our office. We got 7 of
the 12 that went out on tender. I was involved with two of the pipelines, the Q5-Pipeline
and the B19-Pipeline. The designs were done on civil designer and all aspects was
covered.
Lephalale: Infrastructure
(Lephalale Local Municipality) This project was for the design of bulk sewer in the area of Lephalale and the new Medupi
Power Plant. I was responsible for the sewer bulk pipelines (gravity and pumping) and
also with the sewer pump stations (Buildings, pipework, pumps, sump, etc.).
Linbro Park Development: Infrastructure (Phase 2)
(Intaprop - Developer) Next phase of Linbro Park required further upgrades to their bulk civil infrastructure to
support the further developments made by the client. Entailed civil elements like roads,
stormwater, water, and sewer.
Ekurhuleni Roads Project: Roads and Stormwater
(Liviero - Civils) The project included the design of township roads in a number of areas in the Ekurhuleni
Metropolitan Municipal area. The project included 11 separate sections or road with a
total length of approximately 3km. Roads and stormwater for the project was designed
with Civil Designer and AutoCAD

Founders Hill Erf 17: Bulk Water Supply Pipeline
(Zendai SA - Developer) Bulk water pipeline design for Founders Hill located in Modderfontein with an estimated
length of 2000m. Design was done on Civil Designer 2014 and AutoCAD 2015. Awaiting
final approvals from the local authority and will then go out to tender and construction.
Gamohaan Substation: Infrastructure
(Norconsult Iyanda (Pty) Ltd) Project included the design of a platform, cable ducts, roads and stormwater for a new
Eskom substation just outside Kuruman. Design was done on Civil Designer 2015 and
AutoCAD 2015. Currently busy with the detail design.
