- 15. How I would have presented it
- 16. Ad hoc networks are a class of fully distributed wireless networks. In my thesis, I have developed analytical models for predicting their performance, making use of a wide set of tools from stochastic processes and queueing theory.
- 17. How I would present it now
- 18. Wireless network operators have a hard time understanding how their systems would behave in different conditions (traffic, radio channel etc.). In my thesis, I have developed models and tools that help them predict the performance of their systems and optimize them.
- 19. A trick The CPS framework ● Customer: who will benefit from the outcomes of your research? ● Problem: what kind of problem do they have ● Solution: how do the outcomes of your research solve their problem
