2. This was the beginning of filming and all three of us were extremely
excited to get underway. We had the whole day dedicated to filming
and we wanted to get majority of t done on this day but unfortunately
because of location problems we were unable to get as many shots as
we would of liked but it was still a very successful day. We started at
the graveyard and this was the highlight of the day Me & Marcus were
able to work together to get some great shots from different angles and
tis is where we were able to get the end of our opening scene so it
worked quite nice that it wasn’t linear because that would be too
boring. After a successful time at the graveyard, Charlie arrived to help
out for the day with our filming our next ideas were to include some
extra scenes that we had previously spoke about but were never
concrete but because of our inability to find a solid location along
with the lack of props for this day we were unable to come up with any
significant shots and therefore we called it a day for our first day of
filming.
3. This was our second day of shooting so we had our plans for
this day and we were more prepared with our props and we
were started so we went to distinct forests around where we
live in Buckingham and we were able to have some fantastic
shots with Marcus walking past representing Stitches journey
at the start of the film to his daughters grave. We faced no
distinct troubles for this day because of the lessons we
learned from our first day of shooting as we were prepared
and me and Charles were able to find some significant places
for shooting in the forest s such as up tree, on hills, laid in
mud and sat on broken fences by combining all this we
achieved some great leaps onto a finished product in terms of
footage.
4. This was in the end our final day of shooting because we had the
graveyard scenes and all of the walking shots done. For this day we
welcomed our talented Actress Alice O’Dell when we did our shots for the
car scene. The car scene was for the flashback that we use to reveal some
story behind Stitches and how he went insane, As we had no Charles for
our final day it was up to me and Marcus to combine our thoughts and we
thought a shot that was facing the wind mirror and giving off the
reflection of Alice in the back seat which worked out perfectly because it
was different but it worked perfectly at the same time. Our final scene
that we did was the Garage scenes that we wanted to use for time to show
titles on the tools and weapons that Stitches uses significantly the shovel
that he takes to the graveyard, We used my pasting table to hold the tools
on while I used extreme close up’s of the tools with Marcus's hand then
stretching into to remove the tools from the shot and it worked perfectly.
Finally we added some nice shots of Marcus leaving his garage door which
was rooting for a nice extra touch. So overall for this day no problems were
caused again which worked out perfectly and it meant that all our
shooting was complete.
