“Our stand, which is
made by Home Minister

adding that it is Kejri-

“All he (Kejriwal)

30 days, according to a
survey conducted by an
online platform.
The survey received
over 11,000 responses
from residents of Delhi,

by LocalCircles, 54 per
cent of the respondents
said they had at least
two members in their

Such content was found to have potential to
create communal disharmony and disturb

Most of the channels that have been blocked
recently by the GoI were monetized. That
means ads were being shown on the videos

NCPCR seeks legal action against AAP
Gujarat for inducting minor as party worker
New Delhi (PTI): The
NCPCR on Thursday
sought legal action
against the Aam Aad-
mi Party for allegedly
recruiting an 11-year-
old boy as a worker of
their party
.
In a letter to Gujarat
DGP, the NCPCR said
it has been alleged that
Gopal Italia, President
of Aam Aadmi Party,
Gujarat Unit, and Isu-
dan Gadhvi, a leader
of Aam Aadmi Party,
Gujarat, used a minor
boy for political gain.
“It is mentioned in
the complaint that the
minor has been re-
cruited as a worker in
the said political party
and is being used for
protests and child la-
bour for political
gains. It is further
mentioned in the com-
plaint that the minor
has been used by the
party to further influ-
ence other people to
join the party,” the
child rights body said.
It said that the com-
plainant has also pro-
vided various social
media links of AAP’s
official handles with
content posted by the
minor along with his
complaint, proving the
contents of the com-
plaint. The Commis-
sion said that in em-
ploying a minor, the
party violated certain
provisions under Ju-
venile Justice Act,
2015, the Child and
Adolescent Labour
Act, 1986, and Article
21 of the Indian Con-

New Delhi (PTI): A
new book “Netaji” of-
fers a rare in-depth ac-
count of Subhas Chan-
dra Bose’s political mo-
tivations, his personal
relationships, and the
daring military cam-
paigns he undertook to
secure India’s inde-
pendence.
Originally written in
Bengali by the late
scholar and Bose’s fam-
ily member Krishna
Bose, the writings re-
veal the “human being
alongside the revolu-
tionary and freedom
fighter”, traversing
Bose’s life from child-
hood to his death in
August 1945.
The writings were
compiled, edited and
translated by her son
Sumantra Bose.
“I have long felt that
a prime selection of my
mother’s best writing
on Netaji, the INA and
the struggle for India’s
freedom should be
available in English. . .
My mother was so full
of vitality till the end of
her life, despite some
physical infirmities
due to advanced age,
that I had expected her
to live a few years long-
er, into her nineties,”
writes Sumantra in the
book, author of recent-
ly published “Kashmir
at the Crossroads: In-
side a 21st-Century Con-
flict”.
“But there can be no
better time for the pub-
lication of this volume
-- which presents a
unique, composite por-
trait of Subhas Chan-
dra Bose -- than the 75th
anniversary of India’s
independence,” Suman-
tra Bose added.
August 18, 2022 marks
the 77th death anniver-
sary of Netaji, who --
notwithstanding the
mystery surrounding
his demise -- is widely
believed to have died in
a plane crash in
Taiwan.
Aiming to bring an
end to the controversies
and conspiracy theories
surrounding the free-
dom fighter, the over
300-page book gives a
detailed and evidence-
based account of Neta-
ji’s death in one of its
chapters.

New Delhi (PTI): The
Delhi Commission for

The commission

Many of the refu-

which range from
forced conversions, ab-

tacks, sexual assault
amongst others, it said.
“Each refugee fami-

and are plagued with
several issues, espe-

The commission said
these refugees are

with no access to prop-

women and children
are often forced to def-
ecate in the open”.
“Lack of electricity
further renders the
area unsafe. They have
also not been granted
citizenship despite sev-
eral requests,” it said.
Apart from carrying
out a study, the DCW
will also be issuing no-
tices to various gov-

to ascertain the steps
taken by them to re-
solve the issues faced
by the Hindu refugees.
Further, the com-

New Delhi (PTI): The
Union health ministry
has asked eight desig-
nated hospitals that
treat rare diseases to set
up an expert committee
each, which will decide
on providing the cash
aid of Rs 50 lakh within
a month of receiving an
application for finan-
cial assistance from a
patient.
The eight Centres of
Excellence (CoEs) will
also be given one-time
financial support up to
Rs 5 crore for procure-
ment of equipment for
strengthening patients
care services for screen-
ing, diagnosis and pre-
vention (prenatal diag-
nosis) for rare diseases
based on a gap analysis,
according to the new
guidelines issued by the
health ministry
.
Also, more CoEs will
be added for regional
outreach if they are
found to be suitable in
terms of infrastructure
and human resources
based on recommenda-
tions of the Technical
Committee of the Min-
istry of Health and
Family Welfare, the
guidelines said.
The ministry on Au-
gust 11 issued the guide-
lines and procedures
for granting financial
assistance to patients
suffering from rare dis-
eases as thalassemia,
haemophilia, and sickle
cell anaemia under the
National Policy for Rare
Diseases (NPRD), 2021.
The ministry on May
19 increased the finan-
cial support from Rs 20
lakh to Rs 50 lakh for
patients belonging to all
categories of rare dis-
eases. According to the
guidelines, a ‘Rare Dis-
ease Committee’ is to be
constituted in each
CoE. The nodal officer
for rare disease of the
hospital will be the
member secretary of
the committee and the
CoE may also opt for an
outside expert on the
panel, if required.
The applications re-
ceived from the patients
or guardians will first
be scrutinized by the
nodal officer, and there-
after placed before the
committee for consid-
eration and approval.

CUET-UG 4TH PHASE
Students claim centres
changing at last minute
New Delhi (PTI):
Change in centres at the
last moment, far off
centres and no clarity
on retest options -- stu-
dents on second day of
CUET’s fourth phase
were a worried lot.
The first shift exam is
underway on Thursday
.
The exam was cancelled
at 13 centres on Wednes-
day following technical
glitches affecting over
8600 candidates.
“My intimation slip
mentioned my chosen
city as the exam centre
city. However, when I
got the admit card, I got
a centre which is 150 km
away and the entry clos-
es at 8.30 am. I have
been trying to reach the
NTA but no luck yet,”
said a CUET aspirant
Neha Singhal.
Another aspirant,
Anjali Mishra, said,
“Till yesterday after-
noon, my admit card
showed a different
centre and today it is a
different centre. I had
no intimation if
my centre was changed
last minute and have
no clue whether I
would get an option for
retest”.
The CUET is the com-
mon gateway for
undergraduate admis-
sions to all central uni-
versities. A total of 3.6
lakh candidates are eli-
gible to appear for the
fourth phase scheduled
from August 17 to Au-
gust 20.
The exam for addi-
tional 11,000 candidates,
who were to appear in
the fourth phase from
August 17-20, has been
postponed to August 30
to accommodate their
choice of city for cen-
tre.
According to the ini-
tial plan, all phases of
the CUET-UG were
scheduled to conclude
on August 20. The Na-
tional Testing Agency
(NTA), which is respon-
sible for conducting the
exam, had later an-
nounced that all phases
of the exam will con-
clude on August 28.
The exam for additional 11,000
candidates, who were to appear in the
fourth phase from August 17-20, has
been postponed to August 30 to
accommodate their choice of city.
Serial woman burglar who struck
at 100 houses nabbed in Ghaziabad
Ghaziabad (PTI): A
suspected serial bur-
glar who worked as a
domestic help and alleg-
edly stole from around
100 houses, including in
Delhi, Jodhpur, and Kol-
kata, has been arrested,
police here said.
The woman, with 26
cases in the National
Capital Region alone,
would travel by air to
various cities she
worked in, a police of-
ficer said Wednesday
.
She mainly stole gold
ornaments from her
employers, and built a
house for herself in
Delhi allegedly with the
proceeds of the crime,
he said.
Poonam Shah alias
Kajal, who hails from
Bhagalpur district of
Bihar, targeted people
in various cities includ-
ing Delhi, Jodhpur, Kol-
kata, and Ghaziabad,
police said.
The instant case
is related to the theft
of gold ornaments
worth Rs 10 lakh from
Kajal’s employer Vipul
Goel’s house in Ghazi-
abad.
Indirapuram Circle
Officer Abhay Mishra
said Kajal, who is in her
late thirties, was arrest-
ed from Amrapali vil-
lage society on the basis
of CCTV footage with
stolen gold ornaments
worth Rs 3 lakh in her
possession.
Mishra said that dur-
ing interrogation Kajal
said she had planned
this theft with the help
of her accomplice
Bunty
.
According to their
plan, Kajal engaged Vi-
pul Goel’s wife in a con-
versation, and Bunty
stole the ornaments
from an almirah.
They both decamped
from the society in an
auto-rickshaw and di-
vided the stolen gold
ornaments, Mishra
said.
He said that before
she got the job as a
house help here, she
was living in Delhi’s Ut-
tam Nagar.
According to police,
Kajal confessed she pur-
chased a land plot in Ut-
tam Nagar and con-
structed a house on that
using the stolen gold
ornaments.
She also said she had
committed burglary at
least in 100 houses and
was booked in 26 cases
across NCR districts,
they said.

ihar’s Mahagath-

looks to be starting
on a wrong note. Kar-
tikeya Singh, who is the new law
minister, was supposed to ap-
pear in a court on August 16 but
did not as he was being inducted
in Nitish Kumar’s government.
Now an arrest warrant has been
issued against him in a kidnap-
ping case. Singh’s name figured
in the kidnapping of a builder in
2014. In what can be construed
as a reprieve for the law minis-
ter is a note by the Patna High
Court that said the victim had
not named Singh in his state-

All eyes will not only be on
this case but also on the CBI
which wants an expeditious

Central govern-

their settlement in Delhi. A
minister of the stature of
Hardeep Puri, who holds the

used to weighing every word

prompted him to announce
that Rohingya refugees in
Delhi would be shifted to
EWS flats in West Delhi
would be known only to him.
As a reaffirmation he also
tweeted that India has always
welcomed those seeking “ref-
uge”, even though that is not
wholly true. Puri assured the
Rohingya refugees that they
“will be provided basic ameni-

R
Employee Management - Can Destroy
Your Company or Take It To Next Level
n organization is a set of peo-
ple that work for specific ob-
jectives, it is the employee
that run it. The future of any
organization depends on the
type of people who work
there. Proper and well
planned men’s groups for
work is called Talent Manage-
ment. The fate of the organi-
zation depends on the skill set
of the people working in the
organization. If a person
with a correct skill set takes
the organization in the right
direction, then the organiza-
tion and employees are opti-
mally developed. Sometimes
it happens that the turnover
of the company increases,
but the system and talent
management practice in the
company is negligible and
there is a time when the com-
pany is likely to fall from its
employees’ salaries and other
expenses. The companies
who can organize their hu-
man resource in proper way
have a strong foundation.
Recently, the world’s lead-
ing company E & Y surveyed
on the company’s Talent
Management and how they
can grow by organizing it in
correct way. In this survey,
the world’s top 600 officials
took part. These officials
came out with beautiful
things in the discussion. The
organization which will give
more freedom to the employ-
ees to work will grow more
than others. The officials fur-
ther stated that every organi-
zation should develop meth-
od or systems so that each
employee can work with
their own responsibility
. Eve-
ry employee must know ex-
actly what type of work they
are doing and how they want
to contribute to the company
at the end of the year. Also
the organization which does
not give freedom to its em-
ployees for decision making
does not grow very quickly
.
The second thing in this
survey that came out was
that a very few companies
are involved in talent man-
agement related programs or
investments and due to this
reason the company’s growth
in manufacturing is less. As
a result, there are lot of peo-
ple in the organization but
the lack of proper planning
does not benefit the organiza-
tion very much. Only 10% of
the companies have a scheme
to give opportunities to its
present employees rather
than appointing new people.
Doing this gives new oppor-
tunities to the employees
working from a long time
who have contributed more
in the development of the or-
ganization.
More than 54% of the offi-
cials said in this survey that
just 43% of companies have a
strong pipeline to create fu-
ture leadership talent and
38% of the companies have
the eligibility metrics for se-
lecting their organization’s
leadership candidates. Few
companies focus on skill ori-
ented leaders. Only 26% of
companies have met the crite-
ria to select effective leaders
for their organization. Due to
these stats we now come to
know that how much a com-
pany is serious in talent man-
agement and acquisition.
Studying in depth knowl-
edge of talent management,
we get an indication that em-
ployees can give a very im-
portant contribution in the
growth of a company
. Taking
from the workforce planning,
making right choice in em-
ployees and till the employee
come on board the company
has to properly induct them
about the organization, their
role-based responsibility has
to be decided and efforts need
to be made continuously to
make them contribute to the
company. If this whole sys-
tem is not done with a good
work plan then a person will
only be recruited in the com-
pany but will not make any
special contribution. It the
company wants to develop
than the company has to un-
derstand the flow and follow
it accordingly
.

IMPORTANCE OF TALENT MANAGEMENT

z If the employees consider
themselves as partners to the
company, and that kind of
environment is developed than
the company is certainly going
to develop, grow and make
more profits. The company’s
management has to make
certain efforts to create such
an environment.

z Every employee working in
the company has to contribute
in the development of their
organization. You and
your company will grow in
partnership if you contribute
well in the company’s growth.

z Organizations must have
various programs related to
Talent Management. These
programs should be more
dependent on employee’s
contribution to the organization

z Changing the mental attitude
of employees has become very
important in today’s environment.
Regular training programs
should be organized periodically

great responsibilities, has
to make sure that he and

contribution to organization.

organization, then you have to develop employees

‘Can’t make everyone min every time’
Patna (ANI): Bihar CM
Nitish Kumar reacted
angrily after a senior
legislator from his par-
ty JDU, Bima Bharti,
said she’s upset at not
being made a minister
while her party col-
league, Leshi Singh, is
in the cabinet again.
“I cannot make every-
one a minister every
time,” Kumar said, un-
derlining that Bima
Bharti had also been
minister twice. “This
kind of behaviour isn’t
done. The party will
speak with her calmly.
If she understands,
fine. Or else, if she has
thought of going here
or there, she may con-
sider that.”
Bharti had threat-
ened to resign if Singh
remains a minister.
“I’m upset only with
Leshi Singh that she’s
always chosen. What
does the CM see in her?
She is repeatedly in-
volved in incidents in
her area; brings disre-
pute to the party. Why
am I not heard? Is it be-
cause I am from a back-
ward caste?” she said.
“If Leshi Singh is not
removed, I will resign
from the party
. If my al-
legation against her is
wrong, then I will re-
sign as an MLA,” Bhar-
ti further said.
But Nitish Kumar
was having none of it.
“She (Leshi Singh) was
minister in 2013, 2014,
2019 too. There was
nothing like this (alle-
gation) against her
then. This is all mean-
ingless,” he told report-
ers during an interac-
tion in Patna.

Mumbai: Shiv Sena’s
rebel MLA Sanjay
Shirsat, who went with
Eknath Shinde, recetly
tweeted that Uddhav
Thackeray is the family
head i.e. the head of the
Shiv Sena family
. He de-
leted the tweet 10 mins
later but said he was up-
set with cabinet expan-
sion. Obviously Shirsat
is not the only leader
who is miffed. Due to
the 40 days taken for the
formation of the cabi-
net and no allocation of
portfolios even after five
days, it is evident that
many MLAs of the
Shinde faction are an-
gry
. It is being told that
Uddhav Thackeray is in
touch with the rebel
MLAs through his close
leaders.
It is also being said
that after Sanjay Raut’s
removal, the activity of
other leaders has in-
creased & rebel MLAs
are also very comforta-
ble in talking to Uddhav.
Earlier, all the conver-
sations were done
through Raut. Many
MLAs are now coming
out saying his always
wanted to dominate.
The style of Milind
Narvekar, who was Ud-
dhav’s advisor, is easy
compared to him. He
has spoken to many
MLAs. There are com-
plaints from MLAs but
no one is against Ud-
dhav Thackeray
. Every-
one is considering pos-
sibility of return.
At present, a total of
20 ministers have been
made in Maharashtra,
including CM, out of
which 10 MLAs are of
rebel faction, including
Shinde. Four ministeri-
al posts will be available
in next expansion. After
that the rebellion in
Shinde faction will in-
crease as there are 30
contenders for 4 posts.
They feel that as an
MLA, they were placed
better even within Shiv
Sena, then what is the
point of revolting and
going to a different fac-
tion. Shiv Sena can get
the benefit of this situa-
tion. Everyone is also
feeling that BJP can con-
duct elections before
time, for which most of
the MLAs are not ready
.

New Delhi: Not many
people know that the so-

pact in the Northeast
since the days of the Ja-
nata Dal. Nitish Ku-
mar’s party has been in
good shape in at least
three states - Manipur,
Nagaland and
Arunachal Pradesh. Six
of its MLAs from
Arunachal Pradesh
were lured in by BJP
and merged with their
party
. In the elections
this year, six MLAs of
Nitish’s party have won.
So, as soon as they
change their direction,
the wind has started
changing in Northeast.
In Manipur itself, earli-
er there was an opposi-
tion of five Congress
MLAs and one Inde-
pendent, which has now
become11MLAs.Onthe
other hand, BJP’s allies
in both Meghalaya and
Nagaland have shown
their attitude.
NPP leader Konrad
Sangma, heading a five-
party government in
Meghalaya, has said
that his party will not
align with BJP in next
year’s polls. The BJP is

He cited the examples
of rape cases in Unnao

Jammu and Kashmir
and now Gujarat where
the government this

convicted of rape and
murder in the 2002

Hathras - the govern-

Gandhi said in a tweet

New Delhi: Bilkis Bano’s

government move and
said after this, every
rape and murder convict
would apply for remis-
sion. She said the deci-
sion to release comes
across as a 'non-appli-

grossness of the crime'.
"I think every rape and
murder convict will apply
for remission after 14

be granted in this case,
then why won't every

Gear up for 5G launch: Ashwini to telcos
New Delhi (PTI): Telecom

on Thursday asked tele-
com service providers to
gear up for 5G launch, post
the issuance of spectrum
allocation letters.
In a first, the Depart-

“5G Update:Spectrum

The DoT has received
payment of around `17,876
crore from service provid-
ers -- Bharti Airtel, Reli-
ance Jio, Adani Data Net-

for spectrum they won in a
recent auction.
The country’s biggest
ever auction of telecom
spectrum received a re-

a pan-India footprint of 3.5
GHz and 26 GHz bands and

spectrum for `43,039.63
crore. While all telecom

New Delhi (PTI): Interna-
tional oil prices have hit a
six-month low, helping In-
dian fuel retailers breake-
ven on petrol but they con-
tinue to lose money on die-
sel - the most used fuel in
the country, officials said.
The world’s best-known
crude benchmark, Brent
was trading at $94.91 per
barrel on Thursday after
concerns of a global reces-
sion led to it slipping to a
six-month low of $91.51 on
the previous day
.
The current rates are a
relief to India, which is
85% dependent on imports
for meeting its oil needs.
The fall in prices has
meant that fuel retailers
such as Indian Oil Corpora-
tion are now breaking even
on petrol but there are
some losses on diesel, offi-
cials with knowledge of the
matter said.
State-owned fuel retail-
ers IOC, Bharat Petroleum
Corporation Ltd (BPCL)
and Hindustan Petroleum
Corporation Ltd (HPCL)
have not exercised their
right to adjust the retail
selling price of petrol and
diesel in line with the in-
ternational costs for four
and half months now to
help the government man-
age runaway inflation.

New Delhi (PTI): Un-
ion Minister of Ports,
Shipping and Water-
ways Sarbananda So-
nowal on Thursday left
for Iran on a four-day
visit during which he
will assess the progress
of the first phase of the
Chabahar port and in-
teract with senior func-
tionaries of the Central
Asian countries and
explore business
opportunities.
Located in the Sistan-
Balochistan province
on the energy-rich
Iran’s southern coast,
the Chabahar port is be-
ing developed by India,
Iran and Afghanistan to
boost trade ties.
“During my visit to
Iran, I will assess the
progress of the Chaba-
har port and look for
business opportunities
between South Asia and
Central Asia,” Sonowal
told PTI before leaving
for Tehran.
The minister said he
will hold discussions
with Iranian govern-
ment functionaries,
meet stakeholders of
the Chabahar port and
attend business-to-busi-
ness (B2B) meetings to
explore trade potential.
Sonowal’s visit to
Iran came a fortnight
after India hosted an
event on ‘Chabahar
Day’ to promote ‘Chaba-
har - Link to INSTC -

Asian Markets’.
The International
North-South Transport
Corridor (INSTC) is In-
dia’s vision and initia-
tive to reduce the time
taken for EXIM ship-
ments to reach Russia
and Europe, and enter
the Central Asian mar-
kets. “Our vision is to
make Chabahar port a
transit hub and link it
to INSTC to reach out to
Central Asian Coun-
tries,” Sonowal said.
He said due to the po-
tential of the Central
Asian market, the In-
dia-led connectivity ini-
tiatives help provide
secure and commer-
cially-viable access to
the Indian Ocean re-
gion for Central Asian
countries.
He said the Chabahar
port is a strategically
located facility which
can connect Central
Asia and also South
Asia.
“The Chabahar port
will improve the logis-
tics network of the Cen-
tral Asia and promote
joint initiative to create
a regional transnation-
al transport corridor
which will boost not
only India’s trade but
global trade,” Sonowal
said.
In 2015, India agreed
to help develop Iran’s
Chabahar port and an
associated railway that
would enable India to
trade with Afghani-
stan, unimpeded by Pa-
kistan.
After a brief halt, In-
dia accelerated the
work on Chabahar port
last year.
In May 2016, Prime
Minister Narendra
Modi visited Iran and
signed an agreement to
invest $500 million to
develop the port and re-
lated infrastructure.
During Prime Minis-

and Iran signed nearly
a dozen agreements,

anmashtami and food have a
unique relationship and that
can be seen every year on
this auspicious day that
marks the birth of Lord
Krishna. On this day, there
are a few signature prepara-
tions that are offered to Lord Krish-
na, keeping his love for milk and milk
products in mind. Some devotees also
observe a day-long fast and prepare
bhog as an offering to the deity
. There
are just a few ingredients that can be
consumed during Janmashtami fast-
ing. For instance, dry fruits,
sabudana, Amarnath, makhana,
buckwheat and a few more.
In the Hindu Holy Book, Bhagavad
Gita says that whenever evil predom-
inates and there’s a decline in reli-
gion, God himself will reincarnate to
kill the evil and restore humanity
and goodness.
Janmashtami is an example of
this saying. During the rule of King
Kansa, evil practices were at their
extremes. Hence, Vishu (Hindu God)
reincarnated as Lord Krishna to de-
stroy the evil from the world and
spread the message of love, peace,
and harmony

healthy offering is considered
good for the gut and is popular in
Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Punjab
regions of the country.

Lord Krishna is very very fond
of white butter or ‘maakhan’.
There are innumerable stories
of little Krishna stealing butter
from the pots of Gopis. Hence,

brate this festival is to devour a
lovely sweet made out of his
favourite, maakhan. So, this
Janmashtami, do gorge on

to prepare. All you have to do is

SRI RADHA KRISHNA TEMPLE, BANGALORE
One of the biggest ISKCON temples in the entire globe is the
Sri Radha Krishna Temple in Rajajinagar, North Bangalore.
Six shrines honouring Radha-Krishna, Krishna Balarama,
Nitai Gauranga, Srinivasa Govinda, Prahlada Narasimha, and
Srila Prabhupada are located within the temple complex. The
temple’s design includes blue glasses that stunningly contrast
the white sandstone walls. The temple also boasts a gold-
plated kalash shikara and a flag that is 17 metres high. The
Vedic museum, the exhibition area, and the Vedic movie theatre
are among the additional attractions on the temple grounds.
JAGANNATH TEMPLE, PURI, ODISHA
The well-known Lord Krishna Temple in India, Jagannath Temple,
is one of the dhams of the illustrious Chardham Yatra. Both
Buddhists and Hindus regard the temple as sacred. A beautifully
carved wooden statue of Jagannath is located in the temple’s
main sanctum, which is unique because stone murals are typically
found in temples. The temple’s architecture is quite distinctive in
many ways, such as the fact that it never casts a shadow. Even
though the temple is close to the coast, you won’t be able to hear
the waves as you enter the grounds of the building.
SRI SRI RADHA PARTHASARATHI MANDIR, DELHI
ISKCON shrine the Glory of India Vedic Cultural Center in Delhi is home to the
largest sacred book in the entire globe. It is a well-known location in the temple
complex where guests can study Hindu texts using multimedia tools. The
“Astounding Bhagavad Gita,” which weighs 800 kg and is the world’s largest printed
religious work, is included in it.
MAYAPUR CHANDRODAYA TEMPLE, MAYAPUR
Mayapur is located at the junction of the Hoogly and Jalangi
rivers, roughly 130 kilometres from Kolkata. And ISKCON’s
Mayapur Chandrodaya Temple has the most beautiful
architecture ever seen. Along with the Gopis, the deities of
Radha-Madhav, Srila Prabhupada, Lord Nrisingha Dev, and
Pancatattva are present in the temple. Tourists can also stay in
guest houses at ISKCON MAYAPUR.
SRI KRISHNA-BALARAM MANDIR, VRINDAVAN
The original ISKCON temple in India was constructed in 1975.
It is thought that Lord Krishna spent a significant portion of
his boyhood in Vrindavan. Folklore holds that Lord Krishna
performed Raas Leelas in Madhuban in Vrindavan. During
Janmashtami, Madhuban hosts a number of folk performances,
and the city’s aura draws tourists from a great distance away.
ord Krishna is the highest force of
all. He is a teacher, a philosopher, a
shepherd’s child god, a pole star, a
knight in shining armour, and for
some, a way of life. City First brings
to you famous Krishna Temples all
across India which not only have a
deep history but also are archaeological
masterpieces that will tell you more about
Lord Krishna’s life.

New Delhi (PTI): A new book “Netaji” of- fers a rare in-depth ac- count of Subhas Chan- dra Bose’s political mo- tivations, his personal relationships, and the daring military cam- paigns he undertook to secure India’s inde- pendence. Originally written in Bengali by the late scholar and Bose’s fam- ily member Krishna Bose, the writings re- veal the “human being alongside the revolu- tionary and freedom fighter”, traversing Bose’s life from child- hood to his death in August 1945. The writings were compiled, edited and translated by her son Sumantra Bose. “I have long felt that a prime selection of my mother’s best writing on Netaji, the INA and the struggle for India’s freedom should be available in English. . . My mother was so full of vitality till the end of her life, despite some physical infirmities due to advanced age, that I had expected her to live a few years long- er, into her nineties,” writes Sumantra in the book, author of recent- ly published “Kashmir at the Crossroads: In- side a 21st-Century Con- flict”. “But there can be no better time for the pub- lication of this volume -- which presents a unique, composite por- trait of Subhas Chan- dra Bose -- than the 75th anniversary of India’s independence,” Suman- tra Bose added. August 18, 2022 marks the 77th death anniver- sary of Netaji, who -- notwithstanding the mystery surrounding his demise -- is widely believed to have died in a plane crash in Taiwan. The Lawyer Subhash Chandran KR appeared for the Petitioner wom- an and apprised the Bench of Justice Yash- want Varma that he had instructions to withdraw the petition after the woman got to know that her friend was deeply trauma- tised by the filing of the case. B ohingya refugees have become a cause of embar- rassment for the Central govern- ment after a minister and a ministry openly disagreed on their settlement in Delhi. The future of any organization depends on the type of people who work there. Proper and well planned men’s groups for work is called Talent Manage- ment. The fate of the organi- zation depends on the skill set of the people working in the organization. If a person with a correct skill set takes the organization in the right direction, then the organiza- tion and employees are opti- mally developed. Sometimes it happens that the turnover of the company increases, but the system and talent management practice in the company is negligible and there is a time when the com- pany is likely to fall from its employees’ salaries and other expenses. The companies who can organize their hu- man resource in proper way have a strong foundation. Recently, the world’s lead- ing company E & Y surveyed on the company’s Talent Management and how they can grow by organizing it in correct way. In this survey, the world’s top 600 officials took part. These officials came out with beautiful things in the discussion. The organization which will give more freedom to the employ- ees to work will grow more than others. The officials fur- ther stated that every organi- zation should develop meth- od or systems so that each employee can work with their own responsibility . Eve- ry employee must know ex- actly what type of work they are doing and how they want to contribute to the company at the end of the year. Also the organization which does not give freedom to its em- ployees for decision making does not grow very quickly . The second thing in this survey that came out was that a very few companies are involved in talent man- agement related programs or investments and due to this reason the company’s growth in manufacturing is less. As a result, there are lot of peo- ple in the organization but the lack of proper planning does not benefit the organiza- tion very much. Only 10% of the companies have a scheme to give opportunities to its present employees rather than appointing new people. Doing this gives new oppor- tunities to the employees working from a long time who have contributed more in the development of the or- ganization. More than 54% of the offi- cials said in this survey that just 43% of companies have a strong pipeline to create fu- ture leadership talent and 38% of the companies have the eligibility metrics for se- lecting their organization’s leadership candidates. Few companies focus on skill ori- ented leaders. Only 26% of companies have met the crite- ria to select effective leaders for their organization. Due to these stats we now come to know that how much a com- pany is serious in talent man- agement and acquisition. Studying in depth knowl- edge of talent management, we get an indication that em- ployees can give a very im- portant contribution in the growth of a company . Taking from the workforce planning, making right choice in em- ployees and till the employee come on board the company has to properly induct them about the organization, their role-based responsibility has to be decided and efforts need to be made continuously to make them contribute to the company. He de- leted the tweet 10 mins later but said he was up- set with cabinet expan- sion. Obviously Shirsat is not the only leader who is miffed. Due to the 40 days taken for the formation of the cabi- net and no allocation of portfolios even after five days, it is evident that many MLAs of the Shinde faction are an- gry . It is being told that Uddhav Thackeray is in touch with the rebel MLAs through his close leaders. It is also being said that after Sanjay Raut’s removal, the activity of other leaders has in- creased & rebel MLAs are also very comforta- ble in talking to Uddhav. Earlier, all the conver- sations were done through Raut. Many MLAs are now coming out saying his always wanted to dominate. The style of Milind Narvekar, who was Ud- dhav’s advisor, is easy compared to him. He has spoken to many MLAs. There are com- plaints from MLAs but no one is against Ud- dhav Thackeray . Every- one is considering pos- sibility of return. At present, a total of 20 ministers have been made in Maharashtra, including CM, out of which 10 MLAs are of rebel faction, including Shinde. Four ministeri- al posts will be available in next expansion. After that the rebellion in Shinde faction will in- crease as there are 30 contenders for 4 posts. They feel that as an MLA, they were placed better even within Shiv Sena, then what is the point of revolting and going to a different fac- tion. Shiv Sena can get the benefit of this situa- tion. Everyone is also feeling that BJP can con- duct elections before time, for which most of the MLAs are not ready . Is Uddhav in touch with rebel MLAs? On this day, there are a few signature prepara- tions that are offered to Lord Krish- na, keeping his love for milk and milk products in mind. For instance, dry fruits, sabudana, Amarnath, makhana, buckwheat and a few more. In the Hindu Holy Book, Bhagavad Gita says that whenever evil predom- inates and there’s a decline in reli- gion, God himself will reincarnate to kill the evil and restore humanity and goodness. Janmashtami is an example of this saying. During the rule of King Kansa, evil practices were at their extremes. Made with coriander seed pow- der, powdered sugar, desi ghee, cashew nuts, almonds, pistachi- os, mishri, and raisins, this healthy offering is considered good for the gut and is popular in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Punjab regions of the country. MAAKHAN MISRI Lord Krishna is very very fond of white butter or ‘maakhan’. There are innumerable stories of little Krishna stealing butter from the pots of Gopis. Hence, heisfondlyknownas‘Maakhan Chor’. So the best way to cele- brate this festival is to devour a lovely sweet made out of his favourite, maakhan. So, this Janmashtami, do gorge on Maakhan Misri. It’s very easy to prepare. All you have to do is mix sugar with freshly churned butter. You can also add some buts to the creamy mixture. It’s truly yum!
