WHO AM I A mature compassionate caring female who
enjoys sharing time and knowledge with those
willing to learn. I also know that I can still learn
from others, whether older or younger.
WHERE HAVE I BEEN I started my career as a receptionist in the motor
industry. From there I moved to computer
programming and finally ended up in Shell,
where I have been for 22 years. Within Shell I
spent most of my time in IT, with the last 10
years in Procurement. In IT I provided system
support to Shell Oil Swaziland, Shell Oil
Botswana and Shell Namibia Limited. I was also
involved in a number of projects in Shell South
Africa, Shell Botswana, Shell Swaziland, Shell
Namibia, Shell Nigeria and Shell Madagascar.
In Procurement, as the Operations Manager, I
managed the transactional team and the
Procurement Card Administrator in South Africa
and the transactional team in Botswana and
Namibia. I was also involved in the Shell Global
SAP implementation for South Africa. My latest
role was that of BEE Lead within Procurement
Goods & Services.
WHERE AM I GOING WHY HOW Due to Shell relocating to Johannesburg I find
myself back in the job market, with a wealth of
experience to offer the organisation who is
willing to provide an opportunity for a mature
person who can help them grow.
