Follow up with the Customer regarding the necessary documents and shipment

Reporting to Head Marketing.
2. Responsible for Planning, Scheduling of Dispatches to meet the monthly Sales target
for Gold, Silver & Copper Rod.
Liaison with the Freezone Authorities and Fujairah Customs for the domestic as well
as export of the material.
Responsible for On-Time delivery to all customers.
Troubleshooting of Customer’s queries on day to day basis.
Support the Customer with all types of documentation on time from the initiation of
dispatch up to the delivery of material at Customer’s warehouse.
Arrange for Duty exemption/ legalization for customers in Gulf region for Copper
Rod.
Focus on the minimization of stock of finished product.
Application of Customer relationship management techniques to strengthen the
rapport.
Focus on increasing the sales order in Middle East Countries, Srilanka and other
Eastern Countries for Copper Rod.
Cold Calling of Customers on Monthly basis.
Ensure feedback from the Customer is received on quarterly basis and highlight the
issues to Production and Logistics.
Negotiate the premiums of Copper Rod with Customers and take the necessary
approval from management in order to enter into any contract.
Prepare Sales Agreement for Short Term as well as Long term basis based upon the
INCOTERMS 2010 for Gold, Silver & Copper Rod.
Preparation of Proforma Invoice, Sales Offer and send to Customers.
Take daily quotations for Gold & Silver premiums from Customers and decide upon
the best sale value.
Co-ordinate with G4S, Transguard, Brinks for the delivery of Gold/ Silver to
Customer’s warehouse.
Arrange for the Truck Consignment Note by proper co-ordination with the
Transporter for all the dispatched to GCC Countries for Copper Rod.
Co-ordinate with the CHA Agents/ Transporters for export of the material to various
countries.
Daily co-ordination with the CHA & Transporters for the placement of Containers &
Trucks at the Factory for loading and inform the dispatch plan to Logistics.
Send Shipping instructions to the CHA agent after loading of Containers and
confirmation of Bill of Lading.
3. Coordinate with the QC department for smooth dispatches and ensure not to miss cut
off for the Vessels.
Close monitoring of Letter of Credit & Bank Guarantee (for the Validity, last date of
Shipment, Part Shipment, Usance LC Value to accommodate the Interest clause,
Discounting rate with other Banks.
Co-ordinate with the Finance for the negotiation of documents on time.
Facilitate LME pricing of Copper and LBMA pricing of Gold & Silver to the
Customer by co-ordinating with the Hedging Desk.
Reconciliation of all the Pricing of all Customers at the end of the Month.
Prepare the Monthly Sales review report and generate the list for all pending orders
(i.e. priced but not dispatched).
Timely follow up for payment from Customers and reply on deter sheet on daily basis
to sales accountant.
Update the departmental documents on regular basis as required for SOX and ISO
audits.
Internal Auditor for IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001).
Mar’ 10 - Aug’ 10 Fujairah Gold FZC, VEDANTA, Process Engineer (Continuous
Casting & Rolling Plant)
Reporting to Production Manager.
Responsible for Planning, Scheduling and supervise production operation to meet
daily production target.
Responsible for Production Cost and other budgetary performance of the Plant
Operations.
Supervise & lead Shift in Charge, Operators and Technicians to meet Monthly
Production Target.
Responsible for Continuous improvement on Process to increase the productivity.
Performed Time Study for the De-bottlenecking of the Process.
Monitor Equipment utilization and down time with implementation of Corrective/
Preventive Action.
Implementation of 5-S concept on the Shop Floor.

Reduced the consumption of LPG from 36.5 Kg/ MT to 32.3 Kg/MT with TQM
