Project Description
Execution of four elevated stations for the
Riyadh Metro Project Line-6. Installation of
cast in-situ bored reinforced foundation
piles with dia. 1,500mm including pile
testing.
Technology & Geology
Installation of foundation piles by using
rotary drilling rig type BG40 and temporary
casings.
Drilling of 1,500mm piles using variable
drilling approaches i.e. shorter casings
without drilling fluid and longer casings
with polymer depending upon the site
geotechnical conditions.
Fabrication and handling of rebar cages on
site.
Casting of reinforced concrete piles using
tremie method.
Quality control by means of sonic logging,
dynamic load test and low strain integrity
test.
