• Nutritionist: Over 5 years’ experience in the launch and development processes of nutrition
services, as a pioneer in the main hospital as well growing on to successful establishment in over
8 branches. This encompasses research and awareness of consumer needs, as well as project
management experience, in dealing with nutritional management and standard operating
procedures and establishing/coordinating the specialist nutrition clinic in the out-patient
satellites.

2. Skills and Responsibilities:
-Achievements include launching and establishing nutrition clinic services, covering 8 Gertrude’s
branches with experience spanning over 5 years.
- As a member of the Entrepreneurship Club, I served as a manager, to oversee members carrying out
sales and marketing activities.
- I was in the leadership, in charge of planning and organizing of community development and outreach
activities and events for the Navigators Ministry.
- A member of AIESEC, as part of Project Afri-Can team, which sought to empower communities to
formulate and develop solutions to local problems and implement them for positive change.
Research Projects Undertaken:
• Undertook a research study on the Impact of Reproductive Health Education and Facilities on
the Youth of Kahawa Wendani Area, and wrote a proposal for a suitable development
intervention program on the same.
• Prepared and presented a project management proposal on the launch and use of Solar
Disinfection of water technology (SODIS) in Embu.
