• Conducted a rapid ethnographic study as part of the culminating experience (CE) using an inductive
approach to learn more about the existing social support systems of Dominican women living with
HIV/AIDs and how it impacts their health.
• Over 20 interviews were completed with women Infected with HIV, individuals living in the social network
of people infected with HIV and professionals responsible for programs for the care of people infected
with HIV.
