PROFILE
Governance, Transparency & Accountability Practitioner with the goal to contribute to a society where
resources are used effectively & equitably to meet citizen’s needs, I aim to do this by promoting policy and
practice that contributes to more open – transparent, participatory and accountable – governance. My
Ability to do this has been developed through 10 years experience, working with civil society, engaging

• Conceptualized, designed and coordinated implementation of the health sector Social

evidence-based health sector accountability program in 16 Districts.
• Led the roll out of Programme set up, which included Civil society assessments, proposal and
establishment of implementing consortium, recruitment of additional staff, development of
programme management tools
• Developed training and compliance programme materials including 3 procedure Manuals,
programme reporting formats, Citizens Report card (CRC) template, Posters for Displaying CRC in
the field all these to ensure consistent technical quality in implementation
• Coordinated and directly provided technical support, mentorship and training to GOAL and ACT
health consortium implementing partners (directly supervised 4 Regional Mentorship managers)
• Developed my ability to manage and implement all aspects of governance programmes, leading
teams, controlling budgets and liaising with partners

• Helped to put transparency and accountability (T/A) at the center of the UNHCO’s Voices for
Health Rights Campaign’s agenda, and played a key role in securing nearly $3m of funding from the
Sida, Open Society& EU.
• Designed, implemented and managed innovative and funded projects of research, advocacy and
health governance programmes of UNHCO.
