2. Luke Middleton
Me and my partner have decided to cast him as a struggling student
who is not achieving his grades he needs to get into university and
what he is doing in preparation for his upcoming examinations and this
to the narrative as if you work hard you will achieve what you get and
he has put nothing in so will get nothing else
I believe Luke can portray this as he was like this but he has change so
he knows how it feels and can use this experience to accurately portray
this character.
3. Harry Craven
Me and Kian have decided to cast Harry as a student
who works hard and achieves his dream of going to
university and to follow his dream. I believe Harry
can accurately portray this as he is a dedicated
hardworking student, so this will be showed in
scenes when he is revising and preparing for his
upcoming examinations
4. Connor Nailen
■ For our documentary we have decided to cast Connor as the head of sixth
form as he has a mature, sophisticated look about him which will help
accurately portray the head of sixth form role. He himself is dedicated and
understands how important school is for the development of society. It also
helps that he has the look of a teacher and the driven nature to help others
succeed. He has a presence so you know he is there which is similar to a
teacher as you know when a teacher is around
5. Liam Nixon
■ We decided not to cast Liam in the
documentary as we felt he didn’t fit the look
that we wanted as does not look old enough for
sixth form and he is shy so would not work in
our documentary as need to be filmed and he
feels unconfutable about it but he would have
been good for the good student as he has that
look about him that he is a teachers pet and his
look would be in stark contrast to the other
student which would be good
6. Tommy-Lee Ledwidge
■ The main storyline for our documentary will
show the difference of students in school. This
will show the audience what the schools are
actually like. Therefore, a bad student is key
because they would be the rule breakers
which are very common in schools.
■ Tommy could possibly play the bad student as
is a authoritative figure. This is due to his
height. He is very tall which stereotypically
the bad students normally are, as well as
stronger which shows they can think they are
better than everyone else as signifies his
power andTommy fits the stereotype of
being a bad student
