2. Introduction
CSU takes pride in its dedication to provide clear, communicative,
and effective faculty meetings and training. Since Columbia
Southern University faculty members are located in every region of
the United States, nearly every meeting or training can be
accessed asynchronously through Blackboard, Adobe Connect, or
live recordings. To ensure vital communications are recieved, CSU
has required faculty meetings and trainings. Please advance the
slides forward to learn more.
3. Required Faculty Development Meetings
To ensure faculty meet expectations and are familiar with changes
to policies and procedures, faculty must complete periodic
Required Faculty Development Meetings. Faculty may attend these
sessions live or review recordings of sessions at their earliest
opportunity. All faculty must complete the associated Blackboard
Required Faculty Meeting Course "Meeting Verification" to receive
credit and/or compensation for receiving the relevant meeting
information. Faculty meetings are held roughly once every two
months. Notices of training sessions are made via email in a timely
manner. Meeting attendance is kept maintained in each faculty
member’s permanent record.
4. Required Monthly College Meetings

These meetings cover general and college-specific information and
are conducted by the Assistant Provost/Dean for each college. It is
required for Lead and Full-time faculty to attend these meetings,
and Part-time faculty are required to view/complete them in the
Required Faculty Meetings Course to receive credit and
compensation.
