l Founded in 2012 by Caritas Vienna
l Experiences from the Youth Shelter „a_way“
l Mainly aimed at kids in foster care / homeless
youth / youth living in disrupted families
l Funding by Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and
Consumer Protection since 2014

l Creating self-confidence by creativity
l Unique combination of social work & handicraft
l „Peergroup“ since February 2016

5. Numbers & Statistics (2015)
l Growing Numbers of young refugees
l 215 operating days, 1573 participations
l 441 individual participants
l 32% female, 68% male (141/300)
l 6 persons successfully entering further
employment
l 30 participants were supported with their job
applications etc.

l Easy access to „bike trash“ to work with
l Satisfying big demand of the very diverse
viennese cycling community
