The Sarova Hotels Head Office, September 2015 to present
Position :Sales Account Manager
Responsibilities:
 Prospecting and making presentations of various products to organizations
in the designated territory so as to secure their accommodation and
catering requirements.
 Carrying out weekly visits to key corporate organizations, NGOs and
Diplomatic Missions to make presentations on Sarova Hotels’ products so
as to sell and promote the services and facilities in order to meet the set
revenue targets.
 Execution of monthly sales targets related to sales areas set by the
management.
 On a monthly basis maintain and update information on changes in the

business environment mainly focusing on consumer preferences, buying
patterns, budgets and give suggestions on remedial action to be taken.
 Maintain and update the Opera system on a daily basis making all
necessary changes and updates as they occur and recording of major
highlights to be traced.
 Keeping abreast with market trends and reporting any key changes to the
Sales Manager and the Marketing Executive and suggesting new strategies.
 Plan and arrange sales visits/telephone sales presentations, entertainment
for all accounts.
 Carry out sales visits as below:
 Strategic accounts – weekly
 Relationship accounts – biweekly
 Transactional accounts – once monthly
 Keep good relations between all potential clients and Sarova Hotels
through regularly keeping them informed on our activities and providing
feedback on perception of our services to the Sales Manager.
 Production of weekly sales report on clients visited, new business acquired
and loss of business. From this, a monthly summary sales report will be
produced, indicating revenues achieved.
 Participation in various trade fairs, workshops, seminars when required.

Position : Hotel Assistant Manager-
Responsibilities:
 Customer care-meet and greet of high profile guests in the hotel during
check in and check out.
 Duty Manager-Handling operational issues in the hotel and resolving any
arising challenges
 Sales and Marketing-Maximizing on sales in rooms and outlets in the
hotel and ensuring Rack rates and best available rates are applied by staff
at all times.
 Staff Motivation-Ensuring that staff morale is boosted at all times through
