• Women should have the same opportunities as men and be able to determine
their own lives
• Equality is the assurances of equal rights and privileges, legal equality regardless of
gender, age, race, religion or sexual rights.
• It is in our constitution

• People are not the same, but they are equal
• Human rights are an important principle of any
Democratic society
• Equality increases motivation in the company
• It supports families
• Equality helps in times of a shortage of skilled workers
• It is the right thing to do and the smart thing to do
6. What's the purpose and benefit of reaching goal
gender equality for the world/humankind?
• Men and Woman are paid differently for the same work, there is no equality
• During the Corona period, it was mainly woman who took care of homeschooling
and often had to work for it, that it not equal

measurement?
o The gender index measures the average gender difference in 19
individual indicators in the areas of education, professional life and
participation in a single number
o To measure equality, it is not enough to identify statistically
ascertainable differences between women and men. Rather, a
conceptual framework is necessary as a starting point, which
defines which understanding of gender equality is to be based and
what equality should therefore be measured in this sense
o It is determined by the European Institute for Gender Equality
(EIGE), an agency of the European Union
o The index is given as a value between 1 and 100, where 100 stands
for the ideal situation in a gender-equitable society
