Construction of the media product
1. Construction of the Media Product
My original media magazine was different to what I
originally made as there were different types of text and a
change in the colours used in the magazine. The basic
positioning is different, but I changed the topic of the
magazine from helpful resources for people studying to a
music magazine to help people keep up-to-date with the
music industry.
These were the images I used both in the contents page and
also in the double page spread they were taken to help
readers identify what social group the magazine was for.
Along with everything in the magazine written I wanted the
people to easily identify my target audience, which were
teenagers from the ages of 13-19. The magazine I made
shows this with all the techniques and items I used.
This was my second
attempt and from my first
attempt you can see a lot
has changed in this
magazine I changed the
layout of the magazine
along with the colours used.
This was my first attempt of
my music magazine and
changed a lot over the course
of the construction. The
editing was frequently
changed and alerted.
2. These were the pictures I used throughout my media
products not only were they in my media magazine front
cover I also used them in the contents page and double page
spread. I edited the pictures using Photoshop and just
changed the tone of the picture. In the first photo I felt I
could brighten the picture and make my model look tanner.
My second picture was also lighter so I made it a little darker
using the same tool. I slimmed the picture down and made
the people look darker to stand them out within the media
magazine.
