Poll Everywhere

  Emma Matthew
I asked my target audience of teenagers what is their favourite genre of music
and my results are in the table above. My results show that Pop was the most
popular music genre. I will therefore make a Pop magazine because my target
audience like it the most whereas if I done Rock magazine non of my target
audience would buy the magazine.
I asked my target audience what would be the best colour scheme for a Pop
music magazine and they decide that pink and white where one of the best
colour scheme but so was blue, pink and yellow and therefore I decided that I
like pink, blue and white together to make a combination between both choices
and this would draw in both sides of my target audience because it would be a
mix of the colours.
I asked my target audience what would you find most interesting to
read in a Pop magazine and my target audience decided that they
liked to read about interviews rather than anything else even though
gossip was a choice from my target audience and seeing these
results I choose to do an interview as my main double page spread.
I asked my target audience how often would you purchase a music magazine this
is to choose whether I want to produce a magazine full of information or just
average information or just recent updates. My target audience chose an every
week magazine they would buy and this helps me to realise how much information
I need on the front cover and contents page and I chose to go with an every week
magazine.
I asked my target audience how much would you pay for a music magazine
this is to find out what standard I should do my Pop music magazine and my
target audience picked between £2 to £2.99 which I went in the middle and
decided to put the price as £2.50 so that my magazines not cheap but its not
high end expensive.
