 Creating schedules will help me with the management of
the staff I will be working with.
 Booking equipment on time in advance would allow me to
have equipment sorted at the right time needed.

 Booking equipment on time in advance would help me
get equipment when needed and it will make it cheaper
too

4. Managing Time

 Schedules and storyboards would me manage time
in a more efficient way without wasting valuable time
when on set.
Finance
 Also if you manage your time properly you will
ensure that you are within the budget.

5. Being Professional

 Being on time is one of the key aspects of being professional.
 Meting deadlines is also really important part of being professional
 Another important part of being professional is keeping up with the
budget.
Finance
 Creating a professional budget and creating the budget based on the light
house budget card.
 Making sure you stick to budget and paying your crew and actors the
rates based on BECTU.

6. Ensure Progress
Logistics
 It is important to sustain a progress so you don’t fall
behind on dates.
 I will ensure this by gathering regular meeting and
developing a sustaining progress sheets which will allow
me to keep up with tasks.

up with costs

7. Managing Risk

 It is important to manage any risks throughout filming because it could
slow down the production progress
 One of the ways is to complete a risk assessment this will allow you to
take into account any risks and prevent them
 Completing a Recce also allows you to see any risks at your location in
advance
Finance
 Managing risks allows you to keep up your progress of the movie and not
fall behind which will include more money for actors and crew.

8. Managing Crisis
Logistics
 It is important to take into account any crisis that could
happen in the progress of making your movie.
 I would allow some extra time just in case if anything was
to occur. For example instead of 6 days of filming I would
allow 7.
Finance
 Not taking into account any crisis could extend your
deadline which will lead to more money being spend

9. Keeping Documentation up-
to-date and relevant
Logistics
 Overtime things will change within the production and I will
need to change my documentation to match the changes. This
includes any storyboards that will need to be changed.
 It is important to keep up with changes such as the EDL and
storyboards otherwise you could confuse actors and crew.
Finance
 Keeping up with the changes could be costly but at the end the
overall cost could go up if documentation don’t match changes
