Editor's Notes

  1. Fashion is a 225 billion dollar industry that employs thousands of people . The average household spent over 1700 dollars on apparel last year. We all buy clothing whether that is inexpensive or expensive, and we all need clothing.
  2. Who are vogues customers and what is important to them. I started researching the demographics.
  3. Willing to spend disposable income on clothing
  4. Now that we have a picture of Vogue’s average customer, lets compare and contrast that to the demographics of fast fashion. I think you will see, while there are some similarities, there are some significant differences.
  5. While this isnt insignificant, it skews lower than the income of Vogue readers.
  6. Perhaps the most significant difference between the two groups. Fast fashion is willing to forgo quality for price in order to stay on trend. Vogue readers want quality and trend, and are willing to pay a price for it.
