It is driven by intent data which means content is determined by what users are looking for, what they are repinning, what they are searching. - A board is an organizational tool where you save your images. As a user you personally develop your own categories that match with your interests and this becomes what one would consider a profile. Boards are also what connects users because you follow peoples boards. Like most other SNS you are being connected to other users that share the same interest because 9 out of 10 you’re only going to follow boards that interest you.
- A pin is a visual bookmark. When searching through different boards users can click on the image, pin it and it will automatically be saved to one of your own boards. When clicking on the image the user also has the ability to be linked directly to the original source of the image.
