 My target audience is both genders with both ageing from mid teens
(around 16) to mid 20’s (around 25). Using examples like Vibe, XXL and
the source I looked at them as they were already successfully appealing
to the age range in which I was trying to get into. I used their magazines
as an example of what they were already used to and liked and I also
used my focus group to ask them whether they truly liked it and if
anything about their styles in which they didn’t like. Every time I did
come up with something new and not featured in the magazines I
would consult my focus group to see whether they liked it or not such as
things like the Graffiti fonts, the clothing my model is wearing and the
colour schemes with red being the dominant colour.
 Ways in which I will attract my audience is through using things such as
the way my model has dressed, he has dressed as a stereotypical
teenage boy with the snap back hat and the plain darker clothing. This
will attract my ideal audience as it will allow them to associate with the
model in how they dress. During the creation of my magazine I was
constantly asking my focus group who are aged in the range that I am
trying to attract if they liked the things I was adding onto it and if it
would appeal to them. So I have some assurance that I will be able to
attract my target audience. Other things such as the colours I used,
colours such as red and blue which can be seen as multi gender and
Can associate both genders with the blue being quite light blue so it not
only suits boys but girls as well.
