January 2001 to May 2016
Team Leader/Resident Engineer or Deputy Resident Engineer on several road construction
supervision contracts in Malawi, Mozambique, Ethiopia and Zambia:
- Supervised the planning, coordination and implementation of roads and bridges construction
projects. Ensured that the projects adhere to all government and industry standards and
guidelines. Obtained special permits as and when necessary and ensured the paperwork is
recorded and stored properly.

for routine and periodic maintenance, reconstruction and rehabilitation projects on urban
commercial and residential roads including storm water drainage systems.
- Actively participated in the development and introduction of Pavement Management Systems
Senior Engineer and Engineer in the Highways Section of the Department of Works of the
City of Harare:
- Designed roads and storm water drainage systems, estimated cost, prepared bill of quantities,
documented contracts, prepared scope and program of works, adjudicated bids for consultancy
and construction contract.
