TUTORIAL QUESTIONS:
1. Define a group and a team.
2. Explain the stages of group/team development.
3. How do effective teams minimize social loafing?
4. What is groupthink and how do we reduce its symptoms?
5. Is performance related to motivation? Explain the relationship between them.
6. Define equity theory. How can managers use the theory to motivate employees?
CLASS ACTIVITY:
You are to prepare the above questions before attending tutorial. You will be given to 15 minutes to discuss
with your group members who will be selected by your tutor. You are also to choose a spokesperson who
would present the answer when called by your tutor.
