2. ICT enabled tools for effective Teaching and Learning process.
The Institute follows Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
enabled teaching to support, enhance, and optimize the Teaching and
Learning process.
The following activities are adapted in the institute to actively engage the
students in online platform:
Google Classroom: Google Classroom is created for each course by the faculty members. For
each course, study material (Notes, PPT) is uploaded in the Google Classroom. Also Tests are
conducted through Google Classroom in which student has to upload the scanned copy of the
answer booklet. Assignments are assigned to the students in which student has to upload the
scanned copy of the assignments booklet in the Google Classroom. These assignments are used
to award CIE marks.
Online quiz: Online quizzes are conducted for students frequently with the help of Google Forms,
Kahoot! and Quizizz.
Programming Tools: To teach mathematical subjects effectively, Programming languages like
Python or Matlab is used.
Online Classes: Online Classes are conducted in addition with offline classes through Zoom,
Google Meet, Microsoft Team.

3. Massive Open Online Course (MOOC): Students are encouraged to register for MOOC Platform
like NPTEL, Coursera, and Udemy in which students are actively register the courses and
awarded with certificates after successful completion of the courses. After successful completion
of the NPTEL courses credits are awarded by the University.
HackerRank: Online Coding Platform like HackerRank is used to conduct the competitive
programming challenges.
e-library: The Institute provides e-resources through VTU consortium, in which students can
access e-journals and e-books from publishers such as Science direct, Springer, IEEE, Taylor and
Francis etc.
