BP, Texas City
P&ID and ISO Designer/Corrosion and Material Diagram Lead
PES won the contract at BP previously held by Taylor and Hill Engineering
Field verification, review, and update ISO’s/P&ID’s. Create and maintain Master Line List. Revise “As-Built” drawings
based upon the actual pipe existing in the plant or new piping installed in the field.
Develop Inspection ISO’s using construction drawings and field sketches.
Pick up red line updates and modifications on existing drawings using markups from inspectors using BP’s Inspection
AutoCAD and P&ID software.
Recently I have completed creating CMD’s for all the units at BP on my own utilizing information from the unit
corrosion engineers and information from existing PFD’s, P&ID’s, ISO’s and Equipment files. All lines and equipment
are color coded by material and coatings to help identify where corrosion problems exist in the process, I also created
the toolbar and all the blocks used in these drawings. I have overseen the project working one on one with BP’s
Materials & Corrosion Superintendent, Misha Williamson, with minimal involvement from supervision since October
2007.
Currently, I am continuing the CMD Program by creating Unit CMD’s for each unit showing the entire unit on one
drawing and highlighting areas where corrosion problems are present. The order of the units is determined by priority
and risk assessment as decided by the Asset Integrity Department.

correctly with the right materials for the application.
Main duties at Chevron consisted of filling the racks with the appropriate piping on each level to save time and money,
then I began running a 36” flare header from the new unit through the existing units to a new flare stack located in the
