Description (Must be at least 200 words):
In this single, Rome Love takes listeners on a ride through her feelings. She touches on love
and more as she layers melodies and showcases her versatility from being able to go from
rapper to singer. She also blends the lines between in depth lyricism and being able to write
catchy and more commercial friendly sounds and melodies. The instrumentation has a very
island meets hip hop vibe that would sound amazing as you cruise down the highway on a
Friday night. Rome has not been creating music for a long time, but Red Rose showcases
very polished songwriting and song making skills. The song is targeted for women between
the ages 17-28 and has been written for the words to stick in your head after the first time
listening, which is why certain parts of the song is repeated. “Red Rose” can be played
anywhere from the radio, clubs, house parties, and of course, the headphones. I believe the
song has potential to pick up steam once performed in front of the target audience in well-
attended venues. Production and vocals mix well as neither outshines the other. Rome’s
voice cuts through the instrumentation very noticeably on this record and she does a great
job on making her presence known on the single.

Rome Love Releases Red Rose (Romemix)
On January 1st, 2018 Florida based rapper/singer Rome Love released her remix to Red Rose. Rome
treated her fans to a surprise release to kick off the new year with the Caribbean inspired track. The
song shows off the upcoming artists versatility as switches from rapping to singing effortlessly. She
showcases strong songwriting ability and a savvy musical ear as she weaves in and out of different
pockets on the instrumental.
95.3 Orlando would be a perfect radio station to market this song to. With this being the number 1 hip
hop station in Orlando 95.3 would be the perfect station to target the audience that Rome is aiming for
on this record. This could gain exposure to people who are into this sound and some that might have
never thought of gravitating towards her music.
We will contact the Joe Budden Podcast on Spotify to see about being featured in their segment called
“sleepers.” This is a segment where up and coming artist who makes quality music gets a co-sign from
one of the hosts of the podcast and even get their song played in full to close out the podcast. This could
be beneficial due to the public moving toward the record from getting that co-sign from someone they
deem as a gatekeeper or tastemaker.

particular playlist has the same tempo or vibe as Red Rose and that could
lead to ears falling unto the song by being next to similar product.
